Shoes are fairly comfortable, but are made very poorly and don't hold up well. this is due to cheap materials on the outside which tear too easily. Other than that they are a decent shoe.

My all-time favorite shoe was the Brooks Ghost 10. I used to wear Adrenalines for over 10 years and I loved those, back until the model was changed dramatically (the B-width got too wide for me). Now, unfortunately, I see the same thing happening with the Ghosts. I have a narrow foot with a high arch. I wear your B -width model. You keep widening the fit, which makes me have to wear heavier, thicker socks. When shoes get too wide, or especially wide in the heel area, I am susceptible to calf tears. Please do not make the Ghosts so wide in the next model-the 16. The Ghost 15 is definitely too wide for my feet. To give perspective, my new go-to shoe is the New Balance 880, which comes in a narrow B-width, and the sizing never seems to change. As an added bonus, New Balance makes B-width models in more than one color.

Ghost 10s were my absolute favorite. Loved the stretchy fit and the stretchy laces of the 10s. Had to upgrade to the the 14's and they're not quite the same.

I've worn ghost for years. Ghost 14 are my least favorite pair I have. Squeaky, didn't feel as supportive.

I am currently on my third pair of Brooks Ghost 14 and have been wearing Ghosts for about 8 years. The 14s have a problem where the back inside of the shoes rip to shreads and the padding falls out. It has happened with my two previous pairs of Ghost 14s and I anticipate it will happen with my current pair as well. Hopefully this isn't a design flaw going forward.

The shoes feel ok. I have been slowly breaking them in over the past few weeks and they seem that they will hold up for a trip I will be taking in a few days that will require a lot of walking. I am disappointed though that the fabric lining the opening for my foot is coming unraveled. This is not a cheap shoe, that fabric should not even be close to coming apart, yet it is. They also tend to make my feet hot.

I actually prefer the ghost 15 shoes which I have a pair. These 14's actually hurt my feet. No worries I'm still loyal to Brooks. Will buy 15's next time.

Nice running shoes. For some reason it hurts my left food when I do long runs.

Son says they are very comfortable, BUT after 3 months they are destroyed. The soles are worn, the fabric is torn to shreds, and I am already buying a replacement for this pair.
Yes he's 13 and tough on shoes, but the materials seem much less durable than his older Brooks (I've bought him several models, and they usually make it about 6 months).

The soles are great, plenty of cushion for a good walk or run. The body of the shoe is well constructed and comfortable. What I don't like about the Ghost 14 are the laces and tongue configuration. The laces in my Ghost 10's were round with small ribs. They were easy to tighten and held their place. Also, there were two eyelets on each side of the tongue at the top. This prevented it from sliding down or sideways. The 14's laces are flat and lace through one eyelet centered and midway up the tongue. Not good.

I have used Ghost style shoes exclusively for years.
Although I love the form, fit and feel, I will begin using another brand.
Color is as important as form, fit and function.
Brooks refuses to have a broader selection of colors for wide size Ghost

I can tell it would have been a good shoe, if it had fit. I have wider feet, and even the wide sized Ghost 14s did not fit properly. It felt like my big toes were completely off of the shoe platform.

Best shoe to fit wide wide feet, but Brooks really cut quality on the Ghost 14 compared to my Ghost 12 & 13. It has terribly cheap laces, barely padded undersize tongue and overall cheap construction is very disappointing. I included pictures of my 12, 13 & 14 demonstrating tongue & lace and quality decline.
I don't expect this shoe to outlast any of my earlier versions that are still in rotation. I love the sole and stability - very solid and comfortable.
I wish Brooks would revert back to the quality upper materials used in the Ghost 12 and just sell at a higher price .. I would definitely pay the difference to restore the quality.

They are comfy but probably not in the best way. It's almost like my foot gets tired from the lack of rigidity.

My first pair of Ghosts was the 9. I have also had the 11 and 12. This is my least favorite pair. They are less cushioned than previous iterations. When these wear out, I am going to find a new running shoe.
