I retired my Ghost 12's for a new pair of Ghost 14's. They are still the best running shoes I've ever had. Great cushioning and really make me feel confident in my feet. The only knock I have on the pair I got is the laces are really short for using a runners loop which I use. My 12's had plenty of lace for the loop, but the 14's seemed to have really trimmed the lace length too short.

Overall great shoes but don't last for long - surprisingly my Ghost 13 and Ghost 14 pair had sane problem with heel part - got worn out in few months!!! Material used in this part not durable at all. The rest was fine - great cushioning, flexible, style and outside part perfectly built no problems plus very light shoes - in general highly recommended especially Ghost 14 - I got new pair last month purchased on sale!!!

Great running shoe. I used it for XC training over the summer and most of the fall. I got in about 400 miles with them. They wore out a bit quicker than I preferred but that was probably because I played basketball in them over the summer too. Anyhoo the fit was great. nice and snug as a bug. Definitely a shoe I would and probably will come back to.

Good fit, lightweight athletic shoe; but too little support in the front; feels fragile like it will tear, and you painfully feel every frontal impact.

I?ve had many of the ghost shoes throughout their series and this one felt the best in regards to cushion, support and the increase in foreword momentum while running. The only thing I?m not a fan of is the material they use for the upper. It?s not strong enough and often is prone to tearing over time and will lose its shape and create slop in the shoe. I ended up purchasing the gtx version of the shoe and wish they would make that a standard for the ghost shoes.

I love the Ghosts! After running a few years in Glycerins, I switched to the Ghosts several years ago. I never put more than 400 miles on a pair of shoes - and I've run thousands of miles in them. BUT, for the first time, I'm having a minor issue with the Ghost 14s I recently purchased. On longer runs, the tongue is rubbing blisters on the front of my foot, where the foot meets the leg. A little Body Glide seems to be the solution. I'm not sure what changed about the shoe design to cause this.

Love the shoe, and even in the size 10 4e I feel the shoe runs a bit narrow. My biggest concern is that the laces seem to be on the short side and they frequently come untied, which is much different than my Brooks Ghost 10's. Also at times a bit annoying. Overall a good shoe requiring no break in period. Thanks

Brooks Ghost 14's are comfortable from the get go. Their big problem for me is that they only last 2 1/2 months. I walk 4.5 miles a day but I do have a limp which no doubt wears down the shoes. Once the shoes are worn I have to discard them to avoid leg pain. At least, someone else can get a fairly new shoe.

Excellent running shoes, fits great. Material seems to be tougher this time which is a little more uncomfortable, and the laces are a cheaper! but still super shoe.

I'd rate these shoes as "almost." There's a ridge at the base of the toes that I don't like. At that point the inner sole transitions to a level that is a fraction of an inch lower under the toes - perhaps to give the toes something to grip onto when running. I've noticed this in other shoes, including Brooks, before and I don't know when they started building it in. I got a pair of Nike Air Zoom Pegasus at the same time that didn't have the ridge and I liked them much better (they also fit my feet better). Surprising to me, as I had been wearing Brooks happily for the last three years.

The fit and size are good - these are my second pair of Ghost by Brooks. The collar around the ankle is a bit high for me but that is true of almost every brand of sneaker I've owned or tried on.
I'd also recommend:
I also like Asics but they are a bit too narrow in the toe box for me.

Not bad, but not as good as previous iterations of the ghost. Much prefer the cushion in the 13 (or the 12, 11) to that of the 14. The 14 just doesn?t have the same cushion. Not as thick and spongy. Doesn?t last as long. Just took a step backwards with the 14.

My last pair of Ghosts are 12s and the toe box is definitely a touch narrower on the 14s which caused me to move up a 1/2 size to compensate for same. Otherwise they are comfortable and similar to the 12s which has served me very well.

80 miles into these shoes and they?ve become my main middle-long distance running shoes. From day one they fit like a glove and required less than 5 miles to break them in. Really liked the color choices this time around.

I’m sorry that the Ghost 14 has the trendy styled upper, i.e. unstructured - like a slipper. I need more structure and support to forget my feet, my goal! These go back…

The toe box was generous and comfortable. Length was perfect for my usual size. The only reason I am returning them is my foot is unusually wide in the mid-foot area. This shoe is formed to fit a more customary narrowing in the mid-foot area.

Been wearing ghost for years. Great go to, very consistent . The chic-Fil-a of shoes. Also the Sherpa shorts are amazing. I wish I had been using them as long.

Just returned adrenaline 22, easy to do no issues. 22 seemed to be falling over in less than month( to much arch?). Replace with ghost 14 seem more comfortable not walking on ankles. Less arch. Bought for walking/ jog. Bad knees and bad foot. Over weight male (265)?%hoping to get back in shape!

Shoes are very comfortable, but shoelaces present a problem when tying them laces slide or slip out of my hand and the process had to be repeated. It was so frustrating that I had to remove them and replace them with a thicker shoelace which made it much easier to lace them. Recommend using wider of thicker laces for easier and quicker lacing.
