all perfectOnly thing brooks should work on the changing soul colors instead of white (blend with color of shoes and little softer material of the shoe without compromising on ruggedness and durability)

Though less padding than other models, the stronger arch support is a huge benefit.

So, although this is a man's shoe, my hallux rigidus does better with a man's addiction. It fits great and it is roomy for my orthotics. I am able to walk comfortably with the man's shoe.

Very comfortable, but poor quality and short-lived. Started breaking down in under 6 months. Bad enough to need replacing by 9 months.

Other than they aren't very attractive and clunky looking because of size and width, they are a comfortable solid well built shoe that I am using for hiking post foot surgery.

So far they seem to be good shoes fore what i needed. I was disappointed that the laces had to be replaced. I couldn't wear them the first time and had to use my old pair because they were too short to tie. Not only were they too but the right lace was 6 inches shorted than the left lace.

I used the sizing chart for men on this website... the result was 11.5 US However, I'm finding these shoes to be very snug indeed... I should've gone up to the 12. I'm going to have to find some extremely thin socks to find comfort with these.

I bought size 11 , 4E. I use this shoe to walk 3 miles per day. I weigh 205 pounds. I walk on sidewalks. I use orthotic inserts. The shoe is barely wide enough especially in the toe box. I get no blisters but I would not call the toe box roomy. I find the Addiction fits just like my last shoe the Brooks Beast. I do not like black shoes but this shoe is actually dark grey which looks good with the blue accents.

I am an older guy with narrow (A-AA) flat feet that uses a custom orthotic. I need sneakers for general everyday use and have been using Brooks for decades because of their arch support. This is my first Brooks narrow width. They fit well and I don't have to tighten the laces as much. The orthotics fit fine as they did in the medium width. My only wish is a narrow sneaker that is waterproof.

Seems to be a really nice shoe. Unfortunately, I cannot wear it, not thru any fault from Brooks. I have bad neuropathy in my feet, and it just doesn't feel right on me. For anybody who doesn't have a foot problem. Their great shoes.

I have flat feet and severe arthritis in both knees. These shoes do the best job on any that I have tried in providing support and relief. Mine are wide (2E), and I really appreciate the rounded front and generous toe box that allow my toes to splay. The shoes are heavy, which may come with the territory. I do hope that future versions will have a gusseted tongue.

First of all I don't, can't, run. I wear Brooks shoes for the comfort they provide for me. These shoes are very comfortable, at least for me. I previously bought the Beast, and they are a very good shoe also. Thought I would give these a try. They just "might" be working out better for me than the Beast did.

I like the stiff sides as they support my ankle and feet nicely. However the soles also are stiff and I feel like it am standing in gravel, able to feel all the little bumps of the sole and that's what hurts my feet. They are unwearable for me and I still haven't found a brand that is wearable. Best casual comfortable shoes are from FJ for golf but not likely to wear those around town.

The first pair I ordered was the same size as my last pair, and yet it was too small. I returned it easily, and had a new pair in a week or so. It fit fine, but after a few weeks, the right shoe began to squeak. I've looked at the shoe closely,, and can't see anything obvious. Very annoying, too say the least. Would give it 5 stars if not for this issue. My main concern is there is some sort of delamination occurring, causing the noise. We'll see how this holds up, or when I can't stand the squeaking any longer

Finally, a wide, comfortable shoe. Too many shoe companies do not make a wide variety of Wide shoes. Thank you Brooks!

These shoes are the most uncomfortable shoes I ever bought in my life, the heel back cushion is approximately 3/4 inch thick so if you do decide to buy these which I hope you won't you will have to buy a 1/2 inch size larger, not a good shoe if you are wanting comfort. The toe box area had some rough material inside that rubbed on my toes. Had to return.
