I was so disappointed these shoes didn't work for me, they are obviously very well made. Hard soles, very inflexible, my feet hurt from just walking around the house. My very sensitive diabetic feet need a softer sole and some flexibility.

A tad short of size 11, but will stretch to fit better. Narrow feet have very limited selection, wish a larger selection of narrow widths.
I'd also recommend:
Rockport, others who would offer narrow widths

I've worn the Addiction for more than a decade. They definitely changed the last used to make this version. I had to get 2E after ordering D since the beginning. Quality has dropped as well. The tread on the pair I ordered started detaching within days. Brooks sent me a new pair, which were fine. After several month of wear, the cloth around my heel has worn through. This is a great shoe for me, but the lower quality is disappointing.

The fit was very good (I have a very long, narrow foot) but the material was very stiff, which made the shoe less than comfortable.

I am 6', 230# and do not run, but walk several miles a day. I seldom use these shoes for other than the exercise walking. I have been wearing Broroks since I started out with Chariots many years ago. I still have three pairs of Beast 14 that are well-worn, but still usable. Those (my favorites) are my "standard" for all subsequent shoes, none of which (including these reviewed here) have come close. I tried the Beast GTS 23, but they pinched across the bridge of my foot. These Brooks Addiction GTS 15's are reasonably comfortable and supportive while providing sufficient control for my very flat and over-pronating feet. HOWEVER, they are NOT as comfortable or supportive as the Beast 14's. My major gripe with these is with the laces/ eyelet system. Not only are the laces a bit short, but loosening the laces to put on (or take off) the shoes, and then tightening again to walk is not easy, and thus a nuisance. The contrast in this regard with the Beast 14 is remarkable. Not quite sure why, the the lace/ eyelet system in the Beast 14 seems to work much more easily. I think it is down to the quality of the laces and the construction of the eyelets (which seem a little larger in the Beast 14). I've attached comparative side-by-side photos which MIGHT be helpful. Size-wise, these fit about the same as all the 'running' shoes I've bought. My 'normal' shoe size is 14, but for 'running' shoes I need to size up to 15. The width seems about right (without sizing up).

Unfortunately I think there is a problem with the size of the shoes The right side is very short compared to the left shoe even though I have always worn size 13. Because of this I could not wear the shoe I believe there is a defect in the craftsmanship.

Sneaker felt great for months, but around 5 months, the seam near the toe started opening up. I just emailed Brooks to see what they can do about it but if this is not replaced, I would not repurchase from this brand as others have lasted much longer with more wear before something started to become undone.

Guys, I have been ordering Brooks Addictions from you for over 10 years. I thought because this shoe had the Addiction name it was similar to the Addiction Walkers I usually get with leather tops. Obviously this is not the case or like the Addiction I usually order which is size 15 in a double EE size. This model is both too short or too narrow and really less deep by at least 3/4 to 1 inch. Therefore I cannot fit my Orthotic insert into it or even get my foot into it. I miss the Brown Suede type finish you used to offer and I thought this grey colored shoe might be what I needed. So I have to return this order.

My foot loves these shoes. It prefers some firmness in the footbed because of my metatarsalgia. Soft footbeds give too much, causing pain. These shoes are perfect. However, my only complaint is that my forefoot pads and arch supports take up shoe space resulting in very little shoestring to tie. The shoestrings need to be longer; I wish Brooks would offer longer ones for purchase on its website. I had previously purchased the Adrenaline 23 but the footbed was too soft. I returned them after two months for a full refund; Brooks' return policy is awesome.

Feels flat-bottomed, not really enough rocker to be a running shoe. It is comfortable as a knock-around shoe. Also, Narrow B width isn't as narrow as New Balance's 2A

The shoes are 13 Narrow, but my toes touched the end of the shoes, so I feel they run short. Size 13 in other shoes almost always allows enough length. They felt slightly wider than would be a good fit for my feet.

Something about the design of this show reduces the actual size by about a full size from the conventional Brooks running shoe. Be careful when ordering!

I'm in my late 60s and have multiple types of foot pain, including plantar fasciitis and an arthritic big toe, to name a couple. I had tried the Andrenaline GTS 23 but found it too flexible for my big toe, so I returned it and ordered the Addiction. What a great shoe for me! I walk 3-4 miles per day and this shoe is now in my rotation. It feels like it fits the contours of my soles perfectly. The guide rail system makes it a very stable shoe, which helps control pronation that I experience. The shoe does appear to be narrow, but my toes have plenty of room to move about. I took the Brooks shoe-fit quiz, indicating that I wanted a cushioned shoe. I think the Addiction's midsole is really quite firm and at first I thought it would be too firm. After wearing it for a couple of long walks, I was surprised that it did provide enough cushioning. It's so comfortable that I'm also using it as my all-day shoe. Some other shoe brands I've tried have such thick midsoles that they feel unstable wearing them to do anything but walking. Not so with the Addiction.
