Sole broke after 2 months

My boyfriend purchased these and loved them. He only uses them for walking, and the shoe has held up great, except one of the soles broke in half. The tread isn't even worn down. It is my understanding that he is unable to return them due to a defect because it has been too long. It is disappointing because of how great they have been and the price point. If the sole held up, they'd have a lot more life in them.

When I ordered these shoes I was unaware that they had a design different than any shoes I ever wore. The tongueless design did not appeal to me and I returned the shoes.

Does not fit at all like other Brooks shoes. Snug fit creates pain in one foot. I love my other Brooks shoes, so this is just a small aggravation.

They went back to Brooks, the material that makes up the too portion of the shoe is too thin and allows my foot to slide around too much.

Hmmm?.you certainly took some chances with the unique design of this shoe. It did not fit my foot, did not feel the least bit comfortable or work for me in any way. Not a fan of the singular hole to thrust your foot into. The upper part of my foot was bulging up in the upper mid foot area.. a bizarre bad fit/ design.

I love brooks shoes, I bought these to try something new and get a snug, firm fit. Before you run, they do that perfectly. As you run, the material starts to stretch and it starts to get floppy and loose. I would stick to the normal material they use on their shoes, works a lot better.

I?ve used Brooks energize/support shoes for years. This is the most disappointing iteration of their energize/support shoe. The sizing is fine, but the support just isn?t there. They leave my feet and hips hurting, which counters any spring the shoe otherwise offers.

Did not like the no tongue with the elastic. Did not have heel support as in the Adrenline.

I did not care for how the shoe fit around the ankle. It was difficult to slip on. Too tight around the ankle, too snug and my foot did not feel good in the shoe. It was not a good fit.

Lacked comfort and didn?t at all match the description provided regarding frequency of use. Sadly, I?m really disappointed, I?ve been running Brooks shoes for close to a decade.

The sneakers are somewhat comfortable and supportive, but they squeak when I walk in them and it?s annoying. They literally squeak with every single step I take. It?s a defect in the shoe and my last pair of sneakers that I bought from this company, the sole of the shoe literally split right in half and I was never reimbursed for that. This company knows all about the soles of their shoes breaking in half over time. It?s no surprise to them.
