Comfortable shoes, and definitely keep your feet dry in pouring rain. I was disappointed in color though. The pink detail is nowhere near as vibrant as any picture ive seen of this shoe. It's very flat looking. The blue is muted compared to pics as well.

Does not repel water. Feet were wet after one wear

I've been purchasing ASICS for the past few years and they are just not lasting anymore. Since getting this latest pair, my feet hurt after running. For this price, I shouldn't keep wearing through them so quickly.

Too small and stiff. Should have bought bigger. Not cushioned like other Kayano shoes.

Having run ( very happily) in Kayano's since 1996 I've longed for an all weather version for cold or wet mornings. I thought this would be the answer to my wishes. I was wrong. The shoe is heavy and very "hard". I cannot run anything much more than 10km ( my runs average 15-25km every day) without my feet hurting. I'm back to my regular Kayano which feel utterly amazing as they always have. And will put up with cold / wet feet if I have to.

The shoe is not comfortable there is a folding on the tongue that makes it very uncomfortable on the right shoe.

Very stiff. I've worn gel kayanos for years and these really hurt my outer foot.

I always wear ASICS sneakers. It was time for a new pair and I thought these looked nice in the picture. In person they look huge and just not nice at all-they are pretty ugly imo. I exchanged for another pair of ASICS that I like much better.
