always the most comfortable shoe. But the sole is already starting to wear out fast and I've only had it for a couple weeks.

Black and white is really pretty on! The length runs a half size small. Not as sloppy width as the last several years.

Comfortable heel. Wish there was more cushion in toebox. I use them mostly for walking on a treadmill.

I would have appreciated in the description of the shoes that It does have a removable insole. I ordered them without knowing. I wear orthotics and you can't just put an orthotic on top of the insole the shoe comes with. Yes, they do have a removable insole. However, maybe because these shoes are made for overpronation, using an orthotic in it makes the tilt of the orthotic wrong. It also made the shoe somewhat tight. Without the orthotic and just using the insole that the shoe comes with, it is a comfortable enough shoe. But compared to the Cumulus, the sole of the shoes felt somewhat wide and clunky. I wish I could say that having watched a lot of YouTube reviews of Asics shoes that I experienced the difference between the soles of the Kayano vs the Cumulus. Maybe the difference would be more obvious if I were a runner. I'm not, so both could adequately get the job of walking done.

I love my Gel- Kayano 28s- the fit is great and I wear them all the time. My only complaint is that there is only one color option for people who wear narrow shoes- it is very frustrating!

Pretty comfortable. I can feel the support. Nice color and style. A bit tight on the top of the foot but it will likely break in. Overall I may consider purchasing another pair but they are pricey

The quality of the newer model is not the same. The sneaker cut is more narrow. The material does not seem to have the same support.

I ordered the wide, but it did not feel wide to me, which is the reason I had to return. This shoe is a great looking shoe and I hate that I had to return them. I do not care for all of the wild looking designs and colors, and these would have been perfect. I have a very difficult time finding shoes because I have to have more of a stiff sole shoe, not flexible and they have to be wide for my toes. I'll try again, but would appreciate suggestions on others to try. I usually wear New Balance, but haven't found one that works this year.

Gel Kayano is my go to shoe. I loved the 27 and wish I had gotten 2 more pairs while they were available. The 28 feels tighter overall and in the width of the toe. Also, it feels like the heel/angle of the shoe is steeper and my foot feels like it is sliding forward in the shoe. Sad because this is my shoe! And I can usually just order the new version and be good to go. I'll go in store and see if the 29 is better.

I first ordered this is size 7 1/2, which is the size I always get for Asics. But it was too small and I had to return it for a size 8, which seems to be fine. Can't really comment on comfort and overall rating, but typically Asics are very comfortable shoes for me.

I ordered the medium width as I usually do but this shoe is very narrow. There isn't enough room in the toe box which has something to do with the lack of width I'm sure. The shoe looks nice and I will keep it. There is support but not enough in the arch,
I'd also recommend:
New Balance

Nice and narrow for my very narrow foot. I have orthotics and they made the toe box too snug so I had to return.

I tried these on in a retail store with limited color selection. Definitely recommend trying on in store and then looking on the brand website to compare all the available colors, because otherwise I would have missed out on these! I wear these for the gym and everyday use, no problems at all so far. Literally my only "complaint" is that I wish there was more of the plum accent color.

The shoes are very comfortable, however they do feel extremely hot on my feet. I don't even use them to run, I got them because I have bad knees. Would've like them more if they breathed more. Padding feels nice though.

I like the looks of this shoe but it is not deep enough to accommodate my orthotic even after removing the inner sole. Would probably be great for someone without foot issues

Loved the pink color but the toe box on the 28 is wider than on previous models. Years ago when the shoe length became shorter I had to size up 1/2 size. Now with the wider toe box the 28 feels almost 1/2 size too long. My foot runs on the narrow size & it's next to impossible to find an 11 1/2 narrow in a color I like. I tried the GT 2000 10 and it fit better. It's light weight, on the narrow side and has all the gel cushioning I need for walking. Guess I'm done with Gel-Kayano for now.

This is a very cute shoe and I love the color but…. for whatever reason the right shoe always hurt me! I tried and tried to wear them but would always have to take the right shoe off because I could not handle the pain?????

Been wearing Asics exclusively for years for fit and comfort. My feet are narrow, but I wear Thor-lo socks which are thick. Asics are the only shoe I would trust to order online. I'm still staying out of stores as much as possible.

Asics Kayano sneakers are the best for my feet. I wear an 8 shoe, but I need 8 1/2 in this sneaker. I love the color, fit and comfort. Thank you Zappos for providing such great customer service!

I ordered a half size up from my normal size and they are very snug. I would recommend ordering no less than one size up since you need wiggle room with your workout shoes and you do not want smashed toes. They are very comfortable and I think once I have the right size they will be perfect.
