great show but runs 1/2 size too small

I walk a lot - about 5-8 miles a day. This shoe felt great -right off the bat. I could feel the cushioning in the shoe with each step. I'm a true size 5 and these fit perfectly. I really don't care about the look of the shoe, it's more important that the shoe feel great, but they are cute too. Bonus! No blisters or pain of any kind after my first walk. It was almost like the shoe was made for me. I have owned Asics in the past and they have never failed me.

I normally purchase Asics for running/walking and have found that they generally run small. This time I ordered a full size larger, but that turned out to be much too large. So, I returned the original pair I ordered and reordered a 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size. At first I thought they were going to be too small, as this shoe runs much more narrow than the typical wide Asics, but after wearing them for my daily 3-mile walk, I have to say that I love them! The material allows for a slight stretch, so they fit snugly, but not too tight. Other reviewers have disliked the abundant cushioning, but I like it and do not find it to be intrusive or unsightly. These seems to be well made, and I like not only the cushioning but the overall design is great. Will most likely be using these until, like my previous Asics, they have holes in the material and are worn smooth on the bottom -- which means they are a good shoe! :)

Great support for slight over pronation. Wish they were darker blue but happy with purchase.

Wonderful Shoe...

I always have to buy one/half size larger shoe in Asics and when I do they fit great and are very comfortable!

The fit is true to size and the shoes are really stylish and so comfortable.

I really like Gel-Kayano style and fit.

Asics is very consistent with sizing - I've been buying Gel-Kayano's for many years. I use an orthotic and size up 1/2 size to accommodate it, always fits fine.

Fit was good. My problem is my feet swell from neuropathy and diabetes. Alittle tight probably because I have to wear a orthopedic lift which I am sure adds to the fit. Overall I think the shoe is very pretty and well made.

Wow! These were true to size and soooo comfortable! Like walking on clouds! My new favorite shoes!!

This is my second pair of Asics. I also bought the EvoRide 2. I ordered a size 8 in this shoe and a size 9 in the EvoRide. Although they both fit, the size 9 is wider in the toe box. The length difference wasn't noticeable. I needed a high drop heel because I have a false high arch that causes plantar fasciitis. I normally wear a size 8 or a 71/2 in a regular shoe, but go up a size in a running shoe. After loosening the laces of the size 8, they were more comfortable. I'll keep both pairs.

Finally! Asics are back to being wonderful. Shoe has room in the toe-box again.

I exchanged for another color as I just wanted something different. I love the brand and especially the Kayano 28. I have alot of foot problems (bunion primarily); I have far less pain in these shoes and wear in and outside of the gym.
