Big and goofy, but super comfy and superior in rough terrain. Much lighter than my Raichle boots with good support and gore tex lined, which was helpful during recent rainfall in Acadia Natl Park.

Every times I buy I love HOKA shoes

Comfortable right out of the box. Walked three miles in them the first time I wore them. They needed no break in. Glad I purchased them.

I have been pretty loyal to another brand and took a chance on these Hoka. Total regret that I didn't pick some up sooner. Just did a two day backpacking trip and my feet were happy. No hot spots. Not heavy. Very responsive and great for my long feet. I am converted. My only complaint is that they are wide, so I have to lace up the front causing a bit of a material bunch. Small price to pay for the solid ride.

I love these shoes just as much as my previous purchase a year ago.

I just returned from a trip to the UK where I walked on average of 6-10 miles per day. My feet were tired which is to be expected but I didn't experience blisters, foot pain while walking or areas of soreness.

GREAT shoe I believe for everyone but ESPECIALLY for folks who have very arthritic feet and knees. From the first wearing the cushioning, support, and roomy toe box redistributed all the pressure to my feet and knees in such a way that I was virtually pain free for the first time in a few years after trying many other brands of trail sneakers! I work on my feet outside for hours at a time so this shoe, designed for trails is perfect. It slips a bit in the heels, but I have very narrow heels so that may not be an issue for everyone and it does not bother me. I am a woman but the men's 9.5 was a better fit for my foot so no matter your gender, try "women's and men's" styles (or one of their unisex styles) and see what works for you.

Besides being comfortable for my often sore feet, these shoes breathe well, so don't get too hot.

Bought these for my husband for hiking. He absolutely loves them.

After being very active for years and never having any issues I suddenly developed Plantar Fasciitis in my right foot. The pain in my heel was crippling. During the year that I suffered with this pain, I tried different shoes, arch supports, stretches, and everything else I could find that was supposedly the cure. While on vacation I reached the point I could no longer stand the pain or continue walking. I hobbled into a store that carried HOKA shoes. I found a pair I liked, they had my size, I put them on, stood up and the pain was gone! That simple! Since that day as long as I am wearing those shoes I remain pain free, and overall they are slowly eliminating the pain entirely. Now I am the proud owner of 4 pairs, all different colors and two different styles. Same relief no matter what pair I am wearing. HOKAS are now my one and only walking, jogging, running, hiking, biking and work shoes.

I was having problems with Plantar Fasciitus but since I started wearing the Anacapas as my every day shoe for work and long walks my symptoms have disappeared. I am 72 years old and like the fact that these shoes come in black or brown.

Good fit & the support I need

I have CMT and purchase these shoes on recommendation from my Doctor. The provide the support where I need them and the help keep me walking and on my feet all day at work

Water resistance is as advertised. Shoes are holding up well with daily punishment in n the farm.

Right amount of cushion for me; the hakas were too plush. Grip is good.
