Did not even attempt to run in these due to the extreme shortness of the tongue. Using the heel lock loop causes the knot of the laces to rest directly on top of the foot. Exchanged to see if it was possibly a production issue. Each pair had this same problem. Really bummed. Was very excited that a wide was finally released. Hopefully version 4 will correct this fatal flaw.

Fantastic shoe! Perfect fit and best cushion ever! Love it!
I'd also recommend:
Brooks, some Saucony, but these Hokas are definitely the best! And I'm a podiatrist!!!

I have used the Rincon and Rincon 2's, loving both for the comfort. The Rincon 3's have changed, especially on the tongue. The padding has been reduced, and a stiff material added. They just do not feel as nice as the prior versions.

Looks great! Materials feel top quality. Just not an improvement over Rincon 1. I jumped from Rincon 1 to Rincon 3 and the 3 doesn't compare. Rincon 1 is still the best. The 3 feels a bit too large, stiffer, and doesn't have that plushy ground feel and responsiveness I've associated with the Rincon 1. This is a solid shoe and possibly a 4-5 star shoe if you never wore the Rincon 1. Sadly, that's not me.

Really enjoyed first version of this shoe as my first real running shoe. Just got these new ones this week and I really enjoy them at easy paces, they're nice and soft but not too soft and really light on feet. At faster paces they are a little too soft and not as responsive as say the endorphin speed. Couldn't quite get the lockdown dialed in with the new tongue but that should straighten out. Great shoe to pair with something faster for those tempo days.

Walking & at the gym. Feet were bothering me and they helped them feel better and have good support. Sometimes they feel a little narrow, but not too bad.

I normally wear a size 10 but could easily wear a 9 in these. I do love them though. Will exchange for a smaller size.

These are great shoes! I normally wear a 12 in dress shoes, and I had tried a size 12 in my first Hokas, but they were slightly too big so I opted for an 11.5 this time and they feel great to run in. I highly recommend them, especially for those of you who could go down a 1/2 size for a better fit.

To set the stage, my feet are both flat and wide and a bit oddly shaped on top (my instep sticks out a bit higher on my left foot). Thus, for me, there is a "breaking in" period where my feet (especially my left) ached after a 2-mile run. Yet, since that first run, these shoes have been super comfortable.
If you've got weird feet like me, I'd suggest walking with them for a couple of days, 30 minutes per day, which will allow the shoe to conform to your feet.
I highly recommend these.

I purchased the Rincon 3 in what I thought was black and white. I opened the box and everything looked fine. Put them on and went out for a walk. When I started looking at them in the sunlight I realized the shoe graphics were actually blue. If I would have known that I probably would have chosen another color. The shoes are comfortable and well made. I just wish I would have known about the color.

I am a healthcare worker that have been using this product for awhile and I noticed that they are great the first couple of months before starting to lose support .This was okay before other companies started to add leather and more support to the shoes ,I think Hoka for the price it can make a sturdier model that last longer .Thank you

I wear a 9 1/2, but hot these in a size 10, hoping they would fit.
Shoes are still snug.

I was extremely excited to purchase these sneakers for my son to do his cross-country training at his middle. He was so excited to get a new pair of shoes, however, what we received was not expected. The shoes did not fit and we wanted to remove the manufacturer's insole to insert the new orthopedic ones, which he has to use, but it was not possible. In addition, looking at the soles of the shoes, they were very thin, which was not expected. I was expecting more sturdier soles and more cushions for support.

I ordered the shoes in a 13 regular width. They were too narrow. I sent them back and ordered them in a wide width. They still did not fit. They felt the same as the original pair that I purchased.

My husband favorite brand. True to size, he wears 10 1/2. Comfortable to wear all day and even on trips when you’re doing a lot of walking.

The Rincon 3 is a great walking shoe. I do not run or jog in them but would think they would respond. They are extremely light, comfortable and well-fitting and are one of the lower priced Hokas on the market which is a bonus.

My husband is enjoying these Hoka. He is always open to trying a new Hoka style, The Rincon 3 is very lightweight and certainly comfortable he reports. Being 70t years he prefers a somewhat more conservative color and design, and this shoe with predominantly blues pleases the eye and is stylish at the same time. This is his 3rd pair of Hokas as he is very active and wears them daily.
