The shoes themselves are great. Renma is light and has a sturdy stopper on the sole. ( I run around the court so it wears out quickly though.) However, since I have wide feet, I bought the regular shoes and they were too tight. I recommend Asics pickleball/tennis shoes, but unfortunately the wide shoes sell out quickly and I can't buy them anywhere I look.

Mislabeled version of this shoe. Labeled as Mens 9.5 US but actual size is more like Mens 8.5 US or Womans 9.5 US. Tried 2 separate pairs and both were wrong size. Interestingly though, the blue version of this same shoe model is sized accurately.

Mislabeled size = shoe is labeled s 9 1/2 mens but its either a 9 1/2 womens or an 8 1/2 mens. I ordered two pair to be sure. Only the white ones as well. I have a blue of the same shoe and it fits fine and is labeled correctly.

Wore these 1x for 1 1/2 hrs to play pickleball and had to quit early because they are stiff and dont bend easily at toes. Pinched behind right toes and caused pain and red marks. Tried to return them to store as gently used in San Ysidro CA but employee refused to give credit even after Customer Service department via phone directed her to. It was an awful experience and I have been loyal to this brand for years. NOT ANYMORE!

Right shoe rubs against outside of foot that causes significant pain. Thought it might get better after breaking them in but its been over 2 weeks of wear and no improvement. Will probably stop wearing and go back to my Brooks.

First time to get a pickleball shoes from ascis after getting two other shoes. It is the best so far.

I purchased these sneakers for playing Pickleball. I was wearing a different, more expensive brand of running sneakers, but Pickleball requires a sneaker with a solid base for side-to-side action, so you don't twist your ankle. These sneakers fit great, and I feel confident on the court. They look good for everyday wear, too.

What a disappointment after wearing ASCIS for thirty years to receive a product made for pickleball yet is actually unsafe to wear for pickleball - at least indoors. I wanted to keep them new and pretty so I haven't used them outdoors. I have used the Gel_Renma indoors in three separate gyms and have fallen while moving laterally during play in each of those gyms. At first I blamed the gym surface so I used a pair of Babalots when returning to my primary gym. But after a visit to two other gyms and also falling while moving laterally during play in the Gel Renma's, I feel certain there is something wonky with the design of that shoe. Each time I was surprised and puzzled to have fallen. I am athletic by nature and falling isn't common for me. In fact, I wore Asics Gel Dedicate 7 while winning a Silver Medal in the Tennessee State Senior Olympics for pickleball. I wore that different Asic model for well over 6 hours of playing that day with great success yet can't use the Gel Renma's in simply indoor recreational play. That's odd. Also odd is the reply from ASICS customer service. If there is no defect in the workmanship of the shoe there is nothing they can do. It's not their shoe, but my foot that isn't a match for their design. Well my dollars may not be right for ASICS then. I need a brand I can rely on and not have to "test drive" to determine if it is or isn't safe for playing pickleball.

Love these, but they are hot to wear. They need some breathing holes. No breaking in required. Even thought my feet get warm, I decided to buy my second pair. Great cushion and support for the price.

I love that these do not require a breaking in period- they are ready to wear! So far these are holding up great. The soles on my last pair of asics started to wear out after 2 weeks!

I purchased these to wear for pickleball. They are really comfortable and fit really well. I always wear Asics for running and tennis, but these are much better than the tennis shoes for a hard court. I Highly recommend them.

The shoes don't fit me well, I tried the next size up at a store and they were too big. Hoping they eventually stretch out. My feet are asleep by the time I finish playing pickleball. A couple of others have experienced the same with their ASIC's.

I found the shoes tight in the toe box and very stiff. After wearing a few times the stiffness wasnt as evident. The only way I could wear these shoes was after my husband laced them creatively from a hack that hed seen to loosen the toe box area

Started out stiff, but adapted to my foot in a few days. I am a mail carrier and need good shoes.

This is the best, most comfortable shoe I own. I bought the pickleball shoe because Im taking lessons. I have played tennis for years and this shoe is so much more supportive and I feel stable on the hard pickleball court. Besides it is an attractive, easy to care for design.
