I waited several months before posting my review to give the shoes a chance. I LOVE THESE SHOES. They are by far the best walking/running shoes I have ever owned...and I have gone through several brands of shoes. I did purchase a half-size down as was recommended by Hoka. I was nervous about them fitting too small, but they work as they should.

I work M-F at a hospital on a med/surg floor so I'm busy all day long! I've spent a lot of money on shoes that weren't so good, now with hokas my feet, legs, and back don't hurt after working all day long. A lot of nurses and doctors I work with have Hokas as well, they are made with quality and everyone loves them.

Hoka was recommended to me by a friend with plantar fasciitis and I am developing it as well and wanted some comfortable shoes. These are amazing. I didn't need to break them in at all. I ordered wide because one of my problems is my toes feel cramped and they fit perfectly. I wore them to drive for 4 hrs going on a cruise and driving back and they were so perfect for me. Normally my feet would have been achy and needed to be stretched out and I didn't experience any of that wearing these.

My wife loves these shoes, she now has 3 pair that she cycles through. The way they're built work well with her (as her podiatrist calls them) "perfectly normally abnormal feet", what with no strange side seams or the like. This has reduced the number of blisters she deals with.

I was looking for a wide and lightweight shoe. I tried many famous brands but disappoint. I found it perfect fit

I wear these sneakers for work where most of my day is spent standing. It feels like I'm walking in clouds. Not only are they super comfortable, they're also cute and stylish.

These shoes feel amazing. They have made my walks so much more enjoyable!

Music lyrics are always a great way to start, but seriously these shows were it! After spending hundreds of more on other shoes, and having my husband give me the side eye every time a new package of shoes rolles through the door, I am happy to say these shoes worked for my PF. Supportive, cushioned, and I can walk without pain. I am a lifer for sure. They are worth the money!

These shoes are light and cushioned perfectly. My knees are hurting much less since I got them!

I use these for running and being on my feet all day at work.

They feel like I'm walking on clouds. Never have I worn a shoe that was great for standing in one spot but for moving all day without major foot fatigue! Excellent sneaker

This is my second pair of Clifton's. I have the 8 & 9 and I love them both. I wear them everyday. My jump rope and running has improved because I no longer get shin splints. Legs and feet feel great and my podiatrists highly recommend these shoes.

Love the Hoka 8 running shoe! I don't run but they are great for zumba , walking and other types of exercise! Very comfortable, roomy in the toes and cushiony to walk on! Highly recommend them!

Wow! I thought Merrell brand was a good shoe, but then I gave myself a 30 day challenge to walk 10K+ steps per day for 30 days without skipping a day. By day 15 with Merrell's I was getting Metatarsalgia or something like that pain in my foot and knew it was from walking. So I searched for a new brand and Hoka was recommended by 2 other friends. I ordered a pair true to size and I was so amazed. Not only did I finish my 30 day challenge. I am now on day 39 and still going strong with my Hoka's. They are great gym shoes too. I love them. They fit true to size. Just remember, when you are buying athletic shoes, buy a 1/2 size bigger because your feet swell during exercise. I have never been so passionate about a shoe brand. I loved mine so much, I went to a store in town that sells them and bought another pair, the Bondi 8's. So now I have Clifton 8's and Bondi 8's. and I told a friend about them and she loves them now too. Thank you Hoka for making shoes that feel like I'm walking on air. I'd love to get slip on version if you have one.

My Achilles Tendons hurt so I knew it was time for a new pair of Hokas. Stiffness and pain are gone. I just wish the Clifton 8s would last longer. I have had them for just under a year.

I love these shoes, in fact they are my second pair. I wear them for walking every morning. They are light weight and suitable for my high arches.

We are training for a marathon, and Hokas make all the difference!

I HAVE SEVERAL PAIRS OF HOKAS. THEY ARE AWESOME FOR TRAVELING AS WELL AS NORMAL EVERYDAY "AT HOME" WEAR

They are light and comfortable

i've been wearing them for long shifts at work. long shifts where i have to walk. a lot. and stand. a lot. these shoes are SO COMFY. there's plenty of cushion without it being TOO MUCH. i didn't really need to break them in and they felt comfy right away. hope to have them for a long time.

I got a new pair of shoes to help with my shin splints, and I have not had issues since!
