These are seemingly wellmade, attractive shoes. However, they fit oddly on both of my feet, especially on the right side. The arch/insole extends too far back toward the heel. The cushioning overall is nice but I can't get my heel to rest flat.

The shoe was very comfortable when I first tried them on. However, every time I wore them I got blisters. I tried different sox and still I got blisters.

The insert in the shoe was thin and hard. The edge of the arch portion of the insert was sharp and stuck into my foot. I thought I might take the insert out and buy inserts that were not as hard edged - but if I'm going to do that I'll get a nicer looking shoe. Returned.

This is my third pair of Hokas. They are true size and very light, but this pair of Cliftons is not as comfortable as the last pair. They don't feel as well cushioned on the inside and the arch hits in the wrong place.

I'm on my feet and walking 13 hours a day, by the end of a shift the arches of my feet hurt, like it needs a little more support. But going for a quick walk or normal every day wear I love the cushioned support and bounce.

Liked the shoes, but have returned for exchange for the Bondie 8 as think I need the extra plush sole as I noticed my feet started hurting with this pair. Hoping the Bondie's work!!!

I was looking forward to these highly recommended shoes, since I figured these would help with my knee problems. But, frankly, no shoes really help with knee problems, so a doc visit is highly likely. No fault of HOKA at all. The shoes are attractive and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the right shoe is a tad larger than the left. I have tried tightening the laces but the problem is still there. It's minor but irritating. I can't check your sizing boxes since they don't cover the problem. I guess as far as recommending these to a friend, I would say "with reservations." If I were you I would not place this review online.

This was pair number 6 or 7 of Hoka Cliftons. Love the fit. Great with my bunion - no pain at all. However, purchased in mid June 2022 and had to trash them in late August due to the fact that the fabric at the ankle was completely worn and the treads were shot. Did some calculation and walked about 275 miles in them. I only wear them for exercise walks. Previous pairs were not wearing out this quickly and in speaking to friends, they've had the same thoughts that these are not being made the same as they were a few years ago. I'll keep buying but hoping that manufacturing can get a bit better for a bit longer wear.

To be honest the toe box was huge! I'm normally a 10 in running shoes, 9.5 in heels and I ordered a 10, felt like I was wearing 11s. In my New Balances I've worn 10.5 before but these hokas felt even bigger than those. The comfort I've heard these shoes can bring was non existent. I have a ton of friends who swear by hokas for hospital days and was hoping I'd love these, but unfortunately I did not. Returned them without a hassle, so that was fortunate. Definitely shoe looked bulky, thought about exchanging to a half size smaller but don't think it's worth it for the price/nonexistent comfort.

This is the second time I’ve tried this model of Hoka. Each time the arch area between the side wall of the shoe and the insole pinch my skin.

I wear a Bondi 7 in a 9w womens. This is a full size smaller. Hard to say if it will feel as good until I exchange for a larger size.

The Clifton 7 is the 1st Hoka I purchased and loved the cushion, it was like walking on marshmallows. I couldn't wait to get the 8's but as soon as I put them on I was disappointed, where did the cushion go? The shoe feels like there is less cushion and it's more firm, no more marshmallows. The Clifton is known for its soft cushion, why would you change it? The Clifton 9's need to go back to the cushion like the 7's, the 8's are not working for me.

I really wanted to love these Hokas. I ordered a size 10 Wide, Hoka Clifton 8. However, the fit does not work for me - the toe box is barely wide enough and the heel is way too big. Looking for a shoe that has Hoka support, with a wide toe box (without the wide heel). I do love the raspberry color.

Lots of good reviews but unfortunately the shoes felt smaller and not as wide as I expected for a Size 9D. I sized up on purpose for my bunions but the shoes did not feel wide at all even with thin socks. I walked around a bit inside the house and it felt like the front of my foot was "exerting" extra efforts which may result in toe pain should I wear them for longer periods of time. Sorry, they just did not work for me.

HOKA came up thru my research as recommended shoes for running and/or walking bc of the cushion on the soles. This I truly agree. They are very thick yet light on the foot. The greatest downfall of all is the width. They are beyond narrow even in the wide width. I never had any issues like this with Adidas or Brooks. I felt as if my circulation was being cut off. What a horrivle feeling! Unfortunately, I had to return all.

So I went with the Clifton because it came in a cute pink -- unlike the other Wide models. But it is oddly not as wide or as comfortable as the Gaviota, Arahi, or Bondi. Can't figure it out.

I was so excited to get my Hoka Cliftons. I had heard such great reviews but that was not true for me. The size ran large so I returned the first pair and got 1/2 size smaller which is my true size. Still too big and arch of the sneaker did not align with my arch. The outside of my foot got callused and the bone became sore. It is a shame because the style of the sneaker is very nice.

Shoes were great but zero information on shipping progress, no expected delivery dates. This is what it was like back in the 90's.

They wear so easily! The heels of mine have holes in them and it's only been 3 months. I am so happy with how supportive the shoes are for running, walking, cross-training, and so on. I wish Hoka backed their product a little more though. I have a high arch and the shoes help give me the support I need!

Shoes are very confortable but I have two blisters. One on each big toe. Not sure why blisters as the shoe have plenty of room in the front. I have not been able to wear them since the first two times

I have very severe heel pain in one foot. These shoes were highly recommended because of the cushioning. But it did not help with the pain. I've tried everything. But I will say they make your feet feel like your walking on a padded playground. Just didn't work for me.
