They weren't as soft on the inside as I had thought they would be.

Not for people with flat feet. Arch support makes shoe feel uncomfortable. Also is narrower than other brands.

I am a fast power walker. I originally purchased a 9 wide as that is my usual size in Brooks. The shoe is very nice but I was having trouble that no matter how tight I tied them my heels kept slipping up and down. I called and the person suggested returning them and going with a 9.5 regular. I thought that was odd since I am a wide-width. The shoes came yesterday and they are very narrow. Stick with a wide if you are a wide. Now back to the drawing board to deal with the heel slippage.

Love the brand but the stability killed my arch. Need the plush back my p.f needs it plus can't handle my heel being squeezed. Please bring back more cushion on the insert too. Thank you

They are comfortable but when I use to walk 3 miles my feet hurt a little. So will keep for just a casual sneaker

I love Hoka, however I purchased these Clifton's in November and have pretty much just worn them to work and a few walks and the inside heel is completely destroyed. This has happened with my other Hoka's but never this soon and especially not with such minimal wear/use. It's really unfortunate that I already have to purchase a new pair of shoes this soon.

Clifton 8 has gotten narrower than the Clifton 7. This is a big problem since I wear orthotics. They run and squeak when I walk. I went to get my orthotics shaved down but they shave as much off as they could. I didn't have this problem before with the Clifton 6, and Clifton 7s The Clifton's are the only shoe that gives me relief from foot pain and I wear them to the office, running, everywhere basically. So hopefully the Clifton 9s will be a tad bit wider otherwise I'd have to find a new goto shoe all over again.

I have purchased 6 pairs of Hokas in the last few years. This last pair that I bought seem to have a bit less cushion than in past years? Not sure what this means? I love the Hoka shoe and wear them 24/7 due to back issues.

The fabric of the Clifton 8 is much thinner than previous versions. I liked the Clifton 6 over the 7 and 8 because the 6 didn't have the side mesh attached to the shoe tougue. I cut that out of my Clifton 8. Also disappointed that it didn't come with free shipping.

The shoes are great but paid full price then saw they went on sale right after I got them and I bought two pairs so that's 60 dollars more I paid. What a bummer

This is my first experience with Hoka on-line purchasing. The shoes I originally ordered were too narrow for me, I was pleased with the easy exchange, unfortunately, the second pair was also too narrow, again I was pleased that I was allowed a third exchange. However, when I went to order a wider shoe, it was not available, so I ordered an alternative pair. When I got my order, it was the shoes I had sent in to be exchanged. Frustrated, I ended up giving them away and gave up so I am unable to rate or answer any other questions.

I purchased a black pair with a little white etching about 2 years ago. They were the Clifton 8 as well but with more toe room. These did not have the same amount of toe room so I returned them. The ones I own were bought in the store and these were purchased online if that matters.

I bought these because I was told they would be good for me because I work 12 hour shifts and on my feet a lot. They did not help at all. My feet hurt worse than usual even after buying shoe inserts

Not good for people with flatter feet! The arch in the sole dug into my feet and caused a lot of pain! They also seemed really narrow. I have narrow to medium feet and my feet seems to hang over the edge of the sole. So disappointing because they would’ve been really comfortable if not for the jabbing arch!

I bought this shoe because I saw that thee reviews were saying how comfortable this shoe is so I was excited to use them for my new Disney job where I walk and stand all day. I first tried them at the gym for a run and I felt super stable but noticed my arches felt sore. I figured maybe I need to break them in. Fast forward a few weeks later, I'm starting my training for my new job and these shoes just left my feet and arches in SO much pain. Since then I've purchased different shoes for my job but I will continue to use my hokas for running and hopefully after some more breakage, the shoes will feel more comfortable.

I use these everyday. From running errands to taking walks. I recently had surgery on my foot and purchased a wide as suggested by Doc. Didn't fit as expected felt snug and a bit tight. Other than that I like how the bottom base portion I feel support.

The colors are lovely and the shoes feel very cushiony, but I have wide feet and despite getting the Wide shoes, they were uncomfortable and made my right foot hurt, so I've returned them.

So comfortable and lightweight but after spending long amounts of time in them my back went outas soon as I took that shoes off, I could stand up straight without any pain I really wanted these to work but it's not worth the back pain

It's frustrating when I purchase so many pairs of shoes from HOKA and the last few I have received... its like somebody with dirty, greasy hands put the shoelaces in the shoe. I just ordered another pair and I am hoping they are clean!

Arch too prominent and painfully so. Not something that would resolve with breaking in. I am not flat footed and haven't had this problem with other shoes. Otherwise these shoes seem very good as many reviews indicate. Thank you for a very good buying, shipping, and refunding experience, I appreciate it and would try again in the future if this arch were to be redesigned.
