I get about 2,000 outside miles on a pair of Cliftons before the soles get too mushy, but I walk on gravel roads. Started with 3s, and am still happily buying. I tried but do not recommend the Clifton Edge for gravel walking — little pieces get stuck in the heel grooves. I’m back to plain old Cliftons.

Great shoe

Usually wear a 9.5-10 medium in most shoes. Purchased these in a 10 medium and they’ve perfect with room in toe for socks. Lightweight and color is nice.

I love my Hoka’s! I having been using this brand for my walking needs for the last 4 years. My 3rd pair and never disappointed! My husband is going to try Hoka’s for his next purchase athletic shoe purchase after seeing how satisfied I have been with this Brand.

These are the best sneakers I have ever worn. For anyone with any foot problem these are perfect. I can't say enough about them, the look, the feel, and being able to walk a short distance without pain in my feet and lower back in amazing for me!

These shoes were recommended by my foot doctor after big toe fusion surgery. They are amazing. I thought they'd feel clunky, as they look like there's a lot of shoe, but I never even notice when I'm wearing them - they're light as a feather, but so supportive and there seems to be firmness in the toe, so your toes aren't bending. They are my favorite footwear (I'm not a runner) completely by accident! Thanks Jared (my doctor's PA)!

PODIATRIST RECOMMENDED FOR FOOT PAIN- THESE SHOES REALLY HELP. I ORDERED MY REGULAR SIZE, AND THEY ARE A PERFECT FIT.

I usually wear 7 1/2 but 7 fits perfectly. Very comfortable

I always wear an 8 in Hoka and this was no exception. However, this was a change from the Clifton 7, which required a break in period for me. The 8’s were fresh out of the box perfect! I wasn’t sure that I’d like the much thicker tongue but I love it! I believe it contributes to the increased comfort. The only problem now is that I want to replace all of my different colored 7’s with 8’s now. I bought the black for work since I’m a nurse. I don’t usually like black running shoes but these are dope and now I want a black pair for personal use, too. I guess it’s time to put in the OT at work so I can buy all new colors of this amazing Clifton 8. BTW, I also used to wear the Bondi but because it looked huge on me it made me self conscious of my feet. I’m 5’3” 115lbs and wear size 8 Hoka’s. These 8’s are now even replacing my super cush Bondi’s; yes, they’re that fabulous!

Someone recommended this brand to help with joint pain and after checking out reviews, I selected this style, Clifton 8, in two different colors. They are very comfortable. I ordered in 10.5, which is often hard to find.
