After hearing so many people rave about Hokas I decided to try cheating on my usual shoes, Salomons. I was very pleased with the look and overall feel of the shoe - they were so light and breathable and felt lovely to walk in around my apartment.
Unfortunately, the insole in the R shoe was slightly narrower than the left and I could feel it digging into the arch of my foot and the outside edge. I've never had that problem before with any other of my many, many iterations of running shoes, so my assumption is that it was a fluke. However, to be safe, I'm going to go to a physical store to try another pair of Clifton 8s on before purchasing them again.

Yes, I have multiple foot issues. Bunions and hammertoes alone make fit a big issue. These are my first Hoka shoes, and they are comfortable and open the world up. Thank you.

I have been a long-time wearer of The Clifton model shoe and always love them. The latest has an update to the top of the heeltl that I am getting used to. It sticks up further and is harder than the old versions. If your heel/lower ankle are sensitive, this could be a caution for you.
Otherwise, the same comfy cushion and light weight of the shoe are still my favorite for running.

Love the Clifton shoe, I purchased it for when I go for long walks. The shoe is definitely wider than any other tennis shoe that I've ever owned.

The shoe felt great except for my left side of my left foot. I have had foot surgery and need a slightly wider shoe in that area. I wanted to love them.

Love my Clifton 8s just as much as my 7s! I will say they seem to run a little longer than the 7s but as long as I lace them tight enough there's no slipping. Could have maybe done half a size down from normal.

I’m very happy with these sneakers. I stand all day for work, and they were comfortable all day. They provided good arch support and cushioning. My back did not hurt after my shift. The wide size fit my feet better too

Not a runnerbut podiatrist recommended these after I broke my foot. Also recommended by back doctor post surgery. While I prefer the clifton 6, these are the next best thing. Can't go wrong with them

My podiatrist recommended a rocker bottom sold and this lightweight daily sneaker is fantastic. I liked this shoe so much, I got a second pair.
I tried the Bondi style which also has the rocker bottom sole. But these Clifton 8 felt better on my feet and helped my Big Toe Arthritis. Highly Recommend.

They were a gift for my wife since I have already had two pairs. She loves them, “Like walking on clouds”. Great shoe and Zappos is always top notch! Hoka has definitely come a long way with style but we feel they can have some more toned down colors, tans, army greens, Navy blue. It’s definitely their trademark to have that wild look but overall they are amazing!

I bought the size twelve thinking it may be too small. My toes have all the room they need, my heels don't get rubbed in the back, and I love the cushion feel of the soles!
