It was perfect. These are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever owned. I've never heard of them before, but let me tell you, I will be buying more. It's like having 2 pillows on your feet. They are really cute too!

Comfortable, helped improve knee pain, and impact from running. I use them while running on the tread. I first purchased a size 9, but had to exchange for an 8.5. I completed the HOKA fit questions, and am consistently a size 9 in other brand running shoes.

I've been a lifelong (30+ years) fan of Sauconys due to their wider toe box and narrow heel. Imagine my surprise when I ordered a new pair of Omicrons to discover they have narrowed the toe box, not just on Omicrons, but on other styles as well. I started looking at reviews on other brands and discovered Hoka. I've never heard of this brand but reviews were good so I ordered a pair of Cliftons. They seem to be a smidge (1/8 - 1/4") longer than the Sauconys but not long enough to be too big. They feel a tad wider in the toe box as well, have great cushioning (on a par with Saucony) and a stable, well fitting heel. I'm happy with these and will consider other Hokas for future purchases. For the record, I wear an 8 1/2 dress shoe, a 9 running shoe and a 9 1/2 hiking boot (orthotics and heavier socks). This 9 fits just fine. I got the blue fog/plein air color which works with pretty much everything. Very happy so far. BTW, I returned he Sauconys and will be writing them about their terrible decision to narrow the toe box, making their shoe now like pretty much every other major brand's.

I had plantar fasciitis surgery 5 weeks ago, but I went to DisneyWorld the week before my surgery. These shoes carried me through my trip at Disney AND I've been wearing them on my good foot during my surgery recovery! I don't think I'll buy another brand of sneakers again!

This is my 4th pair of Hoka's thanks to my Podiatrist and Neurologist. The shoes last and are extremely comfortable. Be sure to know every year you need to replace any Hoka or other walking shoe as the shoe breaks down on the inside. The outside still looks great but it made a huge difference, when I started replacing at a year. Hoka's have a large toe box and that is a must for Neuropathy.

The Clifton 8 HOKA shoes are very comfortable. I walk every day at lunch (3 miles) and I've noticed how much better my feet feel during and after the walk. Very comfortable!

I switched to Hoka’s after having plantar fasciitis issues, and I love the Cliftons! They are light enough while still providing the cushioning I need to log miles!

I go out solemnly but when I do its for a few hours at most mostly on my feet. Before with my other sneakers my feet would ache after an hour in them. Now with these new shoes I didn't know you could feel energized walking until now. Literal pep in my step.

Have short, wide feet (6E) and do a lot of walking. Hard to find comfortable shoes. Some brands say they're wide but are not. Read a lot of reviews and decided to give them a try. So glad I did. Feels like walking on a cloud. I'm a Hoka fan for life!

I've been wearing Clifton 8, wide width, for over 5 years and I love them. I require an orthotic and use Aetrex 405 for women and the combination lets me walk for many miles without discomfort. No other sneaker has been this great for me. I wear a size 7 shoe but always get an 8 in the Clifton as they run a bit short I think.
