I have used another brand (New Balance) all my life and I decided to roll the dice on these. I was worried because I typically wore an EXTRA wide and these only came in wide. I was born with bilateral clubbed feet and have struggled to find supportive shoes. I run about 35 miles/week so I need something GOOD. I must say, these are the most supportive, most comfortable, and best running shoes I have ever worn. I finished a 12 mile run this morning and my feet felt great the entire time. I can't recommend them enough especially if you have special feet needs like myself!!!

I live with an auto immune disease that causes lots of fun joint and lower back pain. I can feel an immediate difference in my hips and knees when I'm wearing these shoes. I would absolutely recommend them!

This is my 3rd pair and I keep coming back to replace them. I wish they would wear longer than 3 months but being a nurse on my feet more than 60 hours a week they keep my back and everything else from aching daily.

I usually walk at least an hour four times a week. The cushioning under my heels is extremely comfortable. These are actually my second pair of Hoka's.

I walk in these shoes daily; they are my second pair. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

I broke my ankle a couple of years ago. These are comfortable, and have improved both my walk and my posture.

My favorite shoes for walking everyday because I have a torn ligament in my foot and they are very cushy.

I walk at least an hour every day. Some of fitness and some doing errands. For the least several years I was walking in what I'd call "leisure" shoes. Have some elements of athletic shoes but lacking in support, cushioning, etc. And I've tried a number of other athletic brands but none quite worked. Part of my problem is I have very narrow feet, narrow heels, and bunions. My Hoka's felt perfect from the moment I laced them on and they have made my walking a real joy! So glad I found this brand.

I had some old shoes that had zero support and my joints and feet would hurt when I worked out. To the point where I had to stop working out until I got new shoes. But these are everything I needed. The only pain I feel is the soreness from my workouts.

I have worn pretty much every day since they have arrived. I never knew a pair of shoes could be so comfortable.

The Clifton was my first running shoe about 8 years ago. I loved it. When the Clifton 2 came out they changed it so much I couldn't wear them. So over the years I've bounced around buying various different brands. I needed new running shoes so went in and tried on the Clifton 8. I'm so happy! They fit perfectly. Soft, bouncy and reactive. My feet roll thru my step and are supported all the way. Fairly wide toe base and the ankle doesn't rub. Top is made of a breathable mesh so your feet won't get too hot. Nice colors too. Thank you Hoka!

however the last ones i ordered i must have ordered a wide so they are a little big. I will be more careful next time.

Great shoes, comfortable from the first wear. Very roomy too. I had bought the wide width, but exchanged for regular width for a better fit. They do feel a little bigger than my Adidas.

These shoes are the only ones that get me through my work shift. I have severe arthritis in both knees and these have the most cushioning. At least half-dozen of my coworkers are now also wearing them. Please don't change the Clifton 8.

By far, the most comfortable sneakers ever!
