I had high hope for these shoes with so many good reviews. They are well made and comfortable. I particularly like the cushiony support. Unfortunately while right foot seems to fit, left felt very tight in the middle that gives a numbing feeling. Also toe box seem to be low for me with pressing sensation on top. I’m returning this and will try Bondi instead. So disappointed

Have had these shoes just over two months and my legs are sore and tired. Had heard and read mostly great reviews, but unfortunately I cannot agree with them. Soles wear down quickly.

Unfortunately, they are narrower than my older Hokas. I loved the white and yellow. Very disappointed in the fit.

This shoe is made particularly narrow. The medium B width is extremely narrow in the arch and the inner edge of the insole and the shoe bottom sat almost in the middle of my arch. I do not have wide nor have I ever purchased wide shoes. But I could not even stand in this narrow shoe without pain from the inner edge of the shoe hitting my arch.

I just need some extra support ,at first these were great but now, a couple months later one shoe hurts when I walk over a half mile, I bought these for walking, now I wasted my money, very disappointed.

I really liked the color of this shoe but it was uncomfortable. I have several pairs of Clifton 7 and I love them. This shoe felt narrow in the arch and the outside of the sole presses on your arch when you walk. Also the toe box felt smaller than the Clifton 7. I will have to return them.

size was good, but then the quality of material felt a bit low quality. Also didn't provide enough arch support for me.

I had high hopes for these but sadly they aren't what I am looking for. I found the soles very stiff and not cushioned at all, with only the slightest amount of arch support. They were lightweight and reasonably cute for sneakers, but not for me. They did feel slightly big, and a bit wider in the toe box; that's not really a problem but mentioning it in case it's relevant to others.

I was disappointed that the Clifton 8 wasn't nearly as cushy as the Clifton 7. I even believe the size felt a tad bit bigger. I was depending on the Clifton 8 just being a More current version of the Clifton 7, not with noticeable differences.

I have been wearing Hoka's for several years now, been through several modifications to the Clifton shoe. This one definitely made some changes, and though I'm keeping the shoe for running, I don't find them as comfortable as earlier models. First, the tongue seems to be sewn in further down the throat of the shoe and is shorter than previous models. When I pull on the tongue to adjust it, it feels like it's a bit short and doesn't seem as comfortable. The top of the shoe around the opening doesn't have as much cushion as before and the sides of the opening is down quite a bit lower which doesn't secure my foot in the shoe as well. The "horn" on the back is also longer, (which was a change on the Clifton 7) and it's too long and gets hung up on long pants. The cushioning is the same and I walk and run daily in them. Overall, the shoe is adequate and I find I'm getting a new pair every 6-8 months due to the sole deteriorating, so hopefully the next model will be better. I also wish that there would be some more subtle colors, Hokas usually have some pretty wild color variations that are ok with workout clothes, but end up looking garish and weird with street clothes/jeans.

I have three pairs of Hokas that I love. They have helped my plantar fasciitis Unfortunately the Clifton 8 seemed more narrow in the footbed. I felt the inside of my foot was rubbing on the side of the shoe. Sadly I had to return them.

Beware, these shoes are NOT true to size. I normally wear an 8.5 in athletic shoes, but heard these run large, so ordered the 8. Still too long. The 7.5 would probably work, but I'm so tired of trying and sending back shoes that I'm not willing to try them. I also thought the upper material is extremely thin and wonder how they would hold up. My heels are narrow, and there was a small amount of slippage. Even though I bought these shoes for walking, I would have to lace tightly to secure my heel. The cushioning is pretty good, but not as thick and cushy as Hokas that I tried a few years ago.

I have ran in Cliftons before and had great success with them but the last few models have been terrible. After a few miles of running inn the shoe the balls of one foot and sometimes both feet would just hurt. I am sadly disappointed. I did return them in the 30 day trial so I could at least get my money back. I do enjoy the color choices I just wish the would feel better while running. If you are looking for just a walking shoe, these will be fine for that.

The heel and arch of this Clifton 8 HOKA shoe are less supportive with a flimsier structure and poorer quality material. I am disappointed with this shoe. I thought I had found the perfect brand and great support for my troubled feet for life...but NO. What happened??!!

The toe box is very wide and the arch support hit my foot in a strange place. Hence the shoe was uncomfortable for me. That said, my feet are narrow.

I loved the look and fit of the shoes overall but they do not have any arch support. My feet were sore within an hour of working. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

Doesn't feel very comfortable or snug on my foot. It isn't very supportive especially on long walks. Got a bad blister on my inner arch from the insert that was there. Very good looking shoe, but overall disappointed with my purchase.

FYI - not sure which color is which in the description but I did not expect blue shoes. I thought they'd be closer to a white color. Darker sky blue color with orange shebet trim.

The inside width of the insert base is so narrow that it rubs on the arch of the foot. I dont have wide feet either. They look great and the copper wording is stylish. However, I could care less about what they look like if I cant get thru a walk with them on. Return....

I bought my regular size and they seemed to fit when I tried them on. I've only worn them twice at the gym but so far I regret spending the money. My feet were sore after an hour because they are too roomy(again bought my size). They are so squishy it's hard to walk, it's almost more work to walk or run in them. Plus the free expedited shipping code didn't work so I paid extra for slow shipping. They are pretty though! I'm pretty sure no one is going to read this review. For sure it won't be available to shoppers.

I've purchased several pairs of the Clifton 8. This pair has been changed and is not supportive or comfortable. I used to love Hoka but now will be looking for another shoe brand
