These socks turned out to be exactly what I needed to provide the extra coverage that my usual ankle socks did not for a pair of tall Adidas shoes that otherwise wouldn't have had ample protection against chafing, potential blisters and general itching / discomfort caused by the extended portion of leather surrounding the uppermost ankle / lowermost shin & calf. These are NOT too tall nor too short and they are thick and soft without being bulky or overly loose fitting....this means they stay up and do not slide down & subsequently bunch inside my shoes. These wick away moisture fairly well and I haven't noticed any tendency toward holding unwanted smells.. A pet peeve of mine is the little tiny balls of thread & fuzz (pilling) that form across the surface of socks & other clothing, which is generally caused by the friction between dissimilar materials that result in broken, frayed or otherwise roughed up surface fibers becoming twisted, tangled and knotted into tiny balls of fibers that detract from the look, feel and comfort of socks, T-shirts, sweaters and even underwear. Usually this occurs on lower quality fabrics but can occur on any woven textiles and it should be noted that after several weeks of wear, these socks do not show any noticeable pilling, making them some of the most comfortable mid-rise socks I've encountered in recent years.

Needed thicker socks for running. Simple, basic, fir perfect and are durable.

has extra padding on the bottom giving them a very comfortable step. good for working out and streetwear

As I have gotten a little older, I realize how important comfortable footwear and socks are for your feet. These socks along with other Adidas socks and athletic shoes I have purchased are incredible! For me, this gear is a game changer! I highly recommend all of it.
