Bought recently, using mostly as a casual walking shoe for the moment(winter). Great looking shoe that can be used as casual dress or as its intended use, hiking.

Fit is true, generally sturdy build on body of shoe with a lace configuration that looks like itll hold up better than other options I see on shoes worn by team members. Excellent grip on Joshua Tree boulders for smearing and rappelling and easy to hike in. Should work great for our Search and Rescue needs.

The best shoe for walking long distances on hard surfaces I have ever had. I have had extensive surgery on one ankle, so good shoes are critical. I walk long distances on hard surfaces in London. 1-2 hours in daily life, often 3-5 hours at weekends or good weather. These shoes have a firm sole and hold my feet just right, they are light and comfortable to walk in for hours. I bought these in Sept 2023 and by the end of March 2024 they had fallen apart. The suede detached from the rubber sole. This is not good enough at this price. Please fix the design for the next iteration. Personally I don't care about having suede and suspect that they could be made stronger without.

The shoes are comfortable and great to wear. I used them daily for the last years. Unfortunately the rubber started to peel off from the material after a few months and the vibram sole is basically bald after one year of use. Goretex works exactly as it should and the external material is good.

Just ok very cheap insoles otherwise ok but this is an important part to skimp on, I had to buy better insoles

Good shoes but laces lasted literally few weeks before they got torn at multiple places. And Arcteryx doesn't stock laces of course.
