It's been a great supplement to my Atom. I work overnight on a shipping dock so I'm constantly moving around and going from hot to cold when a lot of dock doors are open and it's 20F outside. I'd usually spend a lot of time shedding/adding layers to stay comfortable during the night but I can keep the Rho+Atom combo throughout the night and feel fine for the most part. I haven't worn it on a hike yet but I hope to do so soon and I have no doubt it will perform just as well as it does at work.

I've got the LT hoody since 2020, amazing piece in terms of quality and durability. N.1 in terms of versatility, covers wide range of temperatures. Silk on your skin. The hood is perfect for running low temp by providing the right comfort. Super 5 stars. After almost 3 years, intense use, not even 1 small issue. Go for it!

I love these so I've bought several! They are warm and good as both base and mid-layers.

I really like the neck gator, easily covers face or under chin when warmer weather. The hood is very comfortable under my ski helmet. Shirt is very warm but breathable.

This is my second Rho LT Hoodie. Obviously, I like it, or I would not have purchased another one. In cold and windy conditions. It's very nice to have the ability to pull up the hood and pull up the collar to provide extra warmth. The hood is thick enough to provide protection and thin enough that only a minor adjustment of your helmet is necessary. It is also nice to just wear individually, or with a thin layer underneath, to just lounge around in.

So well thought out. Hood is amazing and results in no need for a balaclava. super comfy great wicking material against the skin. torso is long to tuck into pants and doesn't ride up when in aggressive stance as are the arms ample length. Good brains went into designing thai piece.

I have the older model with the zip neck hoody but have no need to replace it as it has held out season after season. It is a perfect thickness for a baselayer and I've used it at the resort, the backcountry and cross country skiing. The hood isn't too tight and not too loose, just right for over a toque or as I prefer, over a hat. I appreciate the wicking ability of the synthetic material and it dries relatively quickly so I'm not soaking wet for long.

Just purchased and used for the first time for some skiing in Colorado. I found the protection from the elements very good. On warmer days I did not wear the hood. On a particularly cold and windy day I wore the hood under my helmet. It definitely made me more comfortable. The shirt fits well and is a nice material. I used it as a base layer. I also wore it when walking around town in the evening. Kept my neck warm, and I pulled on the hood when the wind picked up and the temperature dropped.

Love the product, perfect for my climate. But as others have noted, pocket is virtually useless, it would be good if it was phone size

Have own this since this past spring. Love the material and especially like the hood and built in neck gaiter. I normally wear a medium and the fit is spot on except for the sleeve length. Normally don't have this issue with Arc'teryx but sleeves are a little on the short side. Thumb holes would have been a welcomed addition.

Warmer than your average cotton clothes and comfortable in areas with no seams.
The friction between my skin and the seams stimulate allergic reactions (itchy).
Arc'teryx should cover all seams that contact the skin with a strip of material.
