I want to preface that I feel (My opinion alone) that I live in one of the colder cities of Canada (Edmonton, AB, CAN) and that this Jacket does keep me warm in -35C outdoors weather. I was a little skeptical about this product since it looks and feels very fragile but I decided to purchase this and give it a shot. After about a month with it, I am fairly satisfied with the purchase. I did purchase a few other products from other retailers to make a comparison and ended up keeping this one. I believe this product is worth its price tag for the reasons that you won't be able to find a lighter jacket that is as warm, nor as good looking. While nothing is perfect and there is still improvements that can be made, I think if you are looking for a light jacket for colder days and don't mind spending a little more, go pick one up.

I purchased this coat a month ago and had a chance to wear it. The jacket is light, warm and comfortable. It is minimalistic but it does what it is for.

I purchased this a month ago as i have been searching a long down coat and stumbled across their store in Central London. To be honest, I was a little taken back by the price tag considering how minimalistic the coat is. There are no technical complications or 'special features'. However, after trying it on, You can feel the material is not like your standard puffer, this is definitely where the money lies, the material. It feels premium, on top of that the down is considerably warm! Holds its 'Puffiness' for want of a better word, unlike some puffers that feel relatively flat. To summarise, given the price tag, i'd say this is truly a good buy if you are looking for a simple, minimalistic yet effective, premium quality down coat. It is not 'Loud' nor does it give of any wow factor but for those that appreciate quality, you would appreciate this!

I have tried almost every Arc'teryx insulated jacket. The Revet Down Coat is by far my favorite. It is light, warm and super comfortable.

I bought this Jacket about a month ago, It's accompanied me on a few winter outdoor camping excursions and has provided perfectly as a parka when standing around camp. I've been wearing this jacket day to day going to work and it's provided plently of warmth while also being incredibly light as compared to other winter jackets of mine. Only downside I have are the lack of features such as large inner pockets, the two exterior pockets along with a small interior zip pocket is all this jacket has. There is a perfect spot for a couple deep pockets on the interior, but the opportunity was missed.

I expect more from Arcteryx, but maybe the company is just changing. This is a cheaply made coat that sounds like you're wearing a plastic bag. No hem adjustment, no body cinch cord. The internal pocket literally sits on top of the left external pocket. That's bad placement. As a long time customer it is items like this that make me think the good days of Arcteryx are over. The high price used to come from the quality, but now it seems like you just pay for the logo.

Product developed rip in the upper arm after very little wear. I contacted support and they offered tape instead of replacing my product.

Very comfortable and warm, but absolutely the thinnest cheapest material in design. If you bump a textured wall (brick or anything even slightly abrasive) this jacket will be 100% ruined. This is a snag away from ripping wide open. This jacket has to be insanely cheap to make and to charge 600 for something that I guarantee won't make it through even the easiest uses for winter, makes me question the brand.
