This tote is fab for travel. I can fit my iPad; blanket; extra sweater; and wallet with tickets in it and still have room left for a large book or fairy files.

Well made, sturdy can hold a lot of things

I honestly had no idea what this bag would feel like or "act" like and I can tell you I'm not disappointed. I've donated all of my bags or sold them all just to have one tote and I'm excited that this one was it from the moment I opened the package. It's buttery soft like you wouldn't believe, the bottom seems more durable and different than top which is excellent to set wherever you want without worry! I love the weight, size, and it's the perfect balance of flexible yet structured and sits upright. I'd be again and again but I know this will last so long I won't need to! Happy and happy to share, buy this bag! Well made, well designed and one more thought: timeless.

I have another tote from madewell and I have the say the quality of this tote WAY exceeds that of the madewell version. This is beautifully made and I love the two tones. Plus, since its black in the bottom itll help hide any marks from setting it down, keeping it looking clean much longer. I highly recommend buying this bag!

This bag is roomy and beautiful. Ive never owned a purse of any kind and always used leather backpacks but this is great. This type of bag is ubiquitous in the retail space so its difficult to choose the right one. I highly recommend this staple bag above others that are of a stiff sub premium quality. The quality and color of the leather is so soft and delicious for the price point. The inside has one tiny pocket and the rest is vast space.

This bag is a wonderful size. I am always traveling, going to visit my grandchildren and now I have a durable leather bag for all my knitting, book, snacks, etc.It is a rich deep color and the leather is lovely. The handles are well attached and wide enough not to cut into my shoulder. I know it will keep improving over time.

Color blocking may be past its prime, but as a public transit user, there is nothing better than the dark navy/slate bottom to fight off city grime. (It also goes well with the earthy color palette I am usually wearing!) The quality of the leather is so great. I wish there was a zippered or at least larger pocket on the inside of the bag, but everything else about it--its weight, its sturdiness, it's PERFECT! combination of slouchy and structure--is so good otherwise that I can't complain. I love this bag!

This is a very well-made gorgeous tote bag. Its exactly what I was looking for, and I only expect it to improve with age. It is roomy and big enough for everything youd want to carry, but lightweight too so that you are not going to injure yourself carrying it. Now if only your customer service department would answer my emails...
