This is an "out of the bag" review. I'm very happy with the style, fit, color, and comfort. One thing to note, which I couldn't detect from the photos and which is not in the description, is that the wool/polyester "side panels" also extend the length of the arm on the underside of the sleeve and then wrap around to the upper side on the forearms. So, the down covers your front, your back, your shoulders, and the outside of your upper arms, but the rest is the stretchy wool/polyester blend. It seems like it will be very flexible and comfortable to wear, but there is less down coverage and more "side panel" than advertised.

Bought this as a replacement for my Rico jacket. I love Arc'teryx products for hiking, but having pieces that fit into general city life are important too. This is great over a t-shirt or sweatshirt, and the burnt orange color goes well with anything. Highly recommend!!

I bought this to replace my Atom Lt, I wanted something more stylish and the the Kole jacket is exactly what I expected. It is warm but too warm but the style is what really sets it apart. Great Job!

This jacket is extremely well constructed and durable and is my favorite of anything I've ever owned. The fit is slightly loose and very comfortable, most importantly keeps me warm! I love the unique pattern and rustic Komorebi color. Great job!

I wanted a coat for cooler temps, but that didn't make it look like I was always headed into the mountains...this jacket is perfect for the urban look and still has that technical quality to it that Arc'teryx always delivers. the colour choices are great and I receive a lot of compliments on this jacket. It's comfy and keeps me warm, even without a hood.

I live in WI, and I was looking for something a step down from my arctic level Thorium to wear in and out of the office. This was unfortunately not that jacket. While it is very comfortable, fits very well, and is appropriate to wear almost anywhere, it is not warm by itself. This will make a wonderful spring/fall jacket, but that's not really what I was looking for when I purchased it.
The insulation is on the chest, back and outer arms leaving the area running from your hip up to the inner bicep down to the inner forearm covered by nothing but elastic. So, if you stand still, hands and arms at your sides you're good. Take a swinging arm step, and the wind chill it quick to find you.
For the time being, I have been using it as a mid-layer and it works well, it has a great range of motion and fits really well under a shell. It is super warm if you can keep the wind off of it. As most Arc products are, it is highly versatile and has been playing an unintended role in my gear options.
Pros:
Stylish, comfortable, great range of motion, excellent mid-layer.
Cons:
-"Minimal sun, funneled winds, single-digit temperatures" - Fail
-Inner jacket construction could use some work. Things are a bit untidy for what I expect out of Acrteryx.
-That's a lot of money for something I'm using as a mid-layer until it warms up a bit...

I bought this jacket for casual wear in and out of the office. I really like it, but I felt the need to write this disclaimer because, having the jacket in hand, it is very different from what I expected, and depending on what your intended uses are for this jacket, you might be disappointed.
If you aren't paying really close attention to the pictures, you might not know that there is only down insulation on the outside of the upper arms and the front and back of the torso. This gives the jacket a nice slim fit, but doesn't keep you very warm. You can really feel the cold coming in under the arms and the sides of the torso. You can just forget about keeping warm in the wind, as it cuts right through. On top of that, the material is quite crinkly, and if I'm honest, feels a bit cheap. I really don't feel I got my money's worth with this jacket.
It looks great in the Komorebi colour and I am happy with my jacket, but it's not as functional as the website leads you to believe, and it seems very overpriced.
