I was on the lookout for a warm bunting that had legs long enough to cover my not-yet-walking babys feet WHILE in a Ergo-style carrier, and this suit has been a workhorse! We live in Minnesota and this keeps our babe toasty in freezing temps and is extremely well-designed for active babies. The material is strong enough to withstand crawling and isnt so bulky that she cant explore. This is our ticket to our babe being able to hang out outside with me while her big brother romps for hours! For reference- our girl is 19lbs and 29 inches and the 12-18m suit is perfect and will likely fit next year as shell be walking and wont need the flip cuffs. We love this thing- thanks LL Bean!
p.s. I did see a review recommending facing the feet cuffs the other way so snow doesnt get in. We havent had that problem but that idea makes sense!

I bought this bunting for our 6 month old great granddaughter, who is a 5th generation LLBean Outsider. It fits well and is super warm while not being bulky. Its easy to take on and off and is a beautiful color. The perfect outerwear for a cold Minnesota day!

Got this for my daughter who is skinny - 3rd percentile for weight. However, the arm sleeves were especially narrow. When I tried to layer under it the suit - it was a really tight fit in the arms- but fine in the legs

It would have been a 5 star for the product, except for my dissatisfaction with customer service.
The product itself is great, really lightweight

Some feather loss. May not be as warm as first thought.

Just love this bunting. Had the same for my daughter who was a different season baby and had to get one for my September baby too! He is currently 12 weeks and the 0-3 fits with some room to grow. He is a smaller baby but think these tuna bit big!
The zipper is great, as are the foot and hand cuffs and hood. Easiest slipping on and off!
Only reason gave it a 4 is because a few spots where feathers have come out. It is a bit of a splurge for one season, but I think totally worth it.

The item is a little lighter then expected. Its not as fluffy or full of down-filling so it doesn't seem to be as warm as I hoped. To best compare it, I would say its like the Uniqlo light-weight vests they advertise each winter. I also got the 3-6M for my 3M old and it is VERY large for her! ( which is okay because im sure she will grow into it a little) But its really an item for only one season and not so much for the deep winter to be honest. Also the color isnt as "clean" as it is on the stock photo. It looked as though it was going to be brighter but its more of a dusty purple shade. I don't love it personally and feel like there are other nicer options for the price. Also as a side note the item came with a tag attached the stated the price of $99 meanwhile I got it on sale thinking it was a deal at $98 - Feeling a little duped by that since the site has it listed as $109 full price.

Could you please consider adding toddler sizes? My 5 month old son is on the larger side so the 12-18 month size may not get us through the winter. Would love to see 18-24 month added at least, if not also 2T-4T! Your other snowsuits in toddler sizes + don't have the fold-over feet and so are tricky for babies who don't wear shoes yet.

If you want a warm bunting that is light enough to fit comfortably in a carrier for wearing baby/toddler or to fit in a car seat, this is a great product. But, it is not great if you plan on getting wet (rain or snow). My baby always comes inside soaked through with wet knees and a wet bottom.

The first couple times my 8 month old wore this she stayed pretty warm and dry, but the first really wintery day with snow and 30 she got cold quickly. She was only in the snow for a half hour (in her sled) and her butt was soaked through and she was was cold all over. For the price I expected a little more water resistance and warmth. I'd say this suit is better for dry, colder fall days. Otherwise, the suit is great. Not too bulky and has a nice hood. I probably still wouldn't use this in a car seat though.

I was so excited to put my little on in this on a particularly brisk day during a recent camping trip. My child is just a bit larger than average for a 7 month old, and there's plenty of room to grow for the season, which is great. I was disappointed in the fabric/stitching, though. I flipped the cuff over the toes, and one leg had a hole in the seam. I had already removed and tossed the tags, so I'll have to try to repair it on my own. For the money, though, that wasn't the quality I expected.

To be honest, we were a little disappointed with the bunting. It did not feel as thick or well made as we were hoping for. We purchased this product as part of a baby gift along with the LLBean Childs wooden pull sled and liner. The sled and red liner were awesome.

If your 12-18 month old is walking, this is not the suit for them. My son struggles to get up from sitting to standing due to lack of room around the mid section and his pants under the snow suit are wet within 20 minutes of sitting in the snow even in freezing temps. I had purchased the same suit last year when he was younger, but this year it was a pricey mistake. The zipper also comes off the track at the bottom.

It was like paper thin. I returned it. It was $100 and didn't seem like it was worth that amount.

I bought one of these suits in size 12m for my first kid in Oct 2023 and it was terrific, wore it all winter. Now expecting my second in January and bought one in size 3m (Oct 2024). The fill is much less substantial and can't believe it would do much to keep a baby warm. Very disappointed in the change.

Fabric is too thin. It tore the first first time we used it. Had to patch the tear to keep he down from running out. It'll be too small next season.

This item looks adorable and feels great, but I was very careful to cut the tags off (not rip them) and when I did, it left a visible hole in the arm and feathers started pouring out at an alarming rate. I had to return as my baby will try to pull out and eat the feathers! Would be perfect if the tags were attached to the zipper in the future.
