My daughter is 20 months old and her weight and height are just below average for her age. She wears a size 18 month usually. The only options for her in this snowsuit are sizes 12-18 month and 2T. I wanted room for layers under and room for growth throughout the winter, so I figured the 12-18 month would be too small. The 2T seemed too big, but it wasmy only option. When I received it I could not believe how big it was! I returned it for the 12-18 month, which actually fits with room to grow. It has not been cold enough to ise it yet, but seems like the usual great quality we expect from LLBean winter gear.

I bought this snowsuit for my 4-year-old and he absolutely loves it. The only downside is there are NO POCKETS to be found on it. This seems like a major design flaw. Why would LL Bean not include pockets to store mittens in? We took him skiing in Stowe, VT last weekend and there was no where to store his ski pass (in Stowe, the ski passes don't clip on to your zipper; they are shaped like a credit card, intended to store in your pocket. When you go through a turn-style to get onto the lifts, the scanner can sense your pass in your pocket and let's you through). We ended up losing his ski pass because we had to take it out of our pocket each and every time he went on the lift. Great snowsuit but don't purchase it for older kids who need pockets!

Has one flaw. It melted in front of the heater. Otherwise, it's warm and fits well and perfect for outdoors. I did have to buy another one after the first one melted in front of the baseboard heater.

I have purchased this suit in various colors over the years for my daughters. My youngest is in a 4T and is skiing solo now. It is frustrating that there is no place to attach a ski pass to this suit other than the main zipper that will result in a pass hitting her face as she skis. Surprised by this oversight from a New England company.

Got this for my 3yo for preschool play. Its warm, comfy and a breeze to put on but the material rips easily. In two months of use has six rips in outer material. Would be perfect if it could hold up better.

This is a really nice snowsuit. Well made and looks very warm. However, it is HUGE! I bought a 2T for my 2 year old grandson and it was enormous on him. Unfortunately, I had to send it back.

This was our 2nd time buying the coldbuster -- because the 1st one was so great! We loved the bright green/blue combo (our previous coldbuster was orange, which we also loved). The suit kept our son warm, even on frigid New England winter days when he would spend more than an hour outside lying on his stomach playing with trucks/cars. Our only complaint was that one knee (and then the other) wore down and there was no way to patch it. We called LL Bean and they were willing to exchange it, but they had no more in stock (nor was there anything of similar value available in our son's size). We opted to duct tape the knee (and then the second) until winter was over. The experience is making it difficult for us to go with the coldbuster again this winter.

The snowsuit is adorable and fits great however it's not waterproof. My daughter's pants get wet underneath. Going to be returning unfortunately.

VERY disappointing. First of all, it soaks through in the snow, which was less than ideal. The bigger issue was that it tore in two places on the very first wear. Hopefully, I received a defective one, but honestly not sure. Returning

I have to say firstly that I am a big LL Bean shopper. But this snowsuit was very disappointing. My daughter and son (he has the blue version) played in the snow today for 2 hours today, and when I took their snowsuits off both kids were SOAKED! Even their layers under the snowsuit were wet. I looked back at this description online and see that it says "water resistant "...not waterproof. It's not about the money frankly, so I am not here to say "this isn't worth the spend", but moreso that I trust LL Beans ability to deliver quality products, and this one is not quality in my opinion.

It was very useful to my grandson during the last snowstorm. Kept the snow and cold out. Because of the extra room in the cuffs, it will probably fit him again next year!

I would not buy this if you plan to pass it down to another kid. The zipper broke after being worn for two seasons. LL bean doesn't fix. For the price I'd expect more. It was fine when the zipper was working.

I have no idea. It's still 65-70 degrees every day. It's not winter yet!

I was so excited to purchase this snowsuit Dec 31, 2017 as I had been searching for a one piece snowsuit for my little. After purchasing the 4t for my 4 year old, I noticed it seemed a bit snug in the torso, but my child stated it was still comfortable and could move around fine in it. So we kept it knowing we would get a second use of it later with the next child. Unfortunately this will not be the case and I can no longer justify spending nearly 100.00 on a snowsuit that will last such a short time. I noticed a tear on the outer shell (hip area) of the suit while having an outdoor family fun day on Feb. 17, 2018. The product description states: "Reinforced for extra durability at the knees, seat and cuffs". Unfortunately, I found that the outer material is not durable enough to withstand what I consider mild use. We used it for 7 weeks for activities such as: shoveling the walkway after snowstorms, sliding in our yard, building snowmen & forts, and for school recess twice per week. I could not recommend this product to a friend/family knowing that it could only last them a short time. I feel this was such a waste of money and I could have gotten similar or even better quality at a cheaper retailer.
