Ok first of all, the inserts for arch support are extremely hard and uncomfortable. Painful. I immediately took them out and went straight to Walmart, buying all kinds of Dr Scholl's and different gel inserts, came home, and tried them out. I settled on the Dr Scholl's cloud inserts. Very nice. Second, I had to buy crew/tube socks. I have a bunch of no-shows and ankles because I prefer them, but all of them ride down into the shoe and start slipping off my heel - one of the most annoying things in the world. So for this problem, first I tried lacing up the final hole and tying them like regular, but the tightness around the front of my ankles that this produced was surprisingly painful. So I have to leave the top one unlaced (just like how the shoes arrived) My next solution was higher fitting socks, and it solved the problem just fine! So now these are very comfortable. The frustration with ordering shoes, and not going to a physical store, trying them on and walking the aisles like we all know to do, is this: I never run wide. Ever. But these are my second pair through Zappos; had to send my first selection back. The shoes I had ordered before these were regular width, like I usually get, and they rubbed at the sides of my baby toes - exactly where the steel toe material is. So now I know I do run wide in safety shoes, I didn't think the composite material would make a difference, but it did! So don't be afraid to select Wide if you normally don't need to. Keep in mind these aren't regular shoes. I love that they look like regular shoes though! So pretty, and very flexible as far as matching with a lot of different clothes.

I think you need to widen the composite toe more, I got a wide fit and my toes still felt snug, you need to make an extra wide for women.

I bought another pair of these same shoes but in a different color they are fantastic! I been in a 7-1/2 women shoe for over 35 years. these shoes do run bigger, feels more like a size 8 when. I ended up keeping them because they are so comfortable on the inside. I just bought thicker socks. My toes have some wiggly room which is great. I am a full-figured woman if this helps with your decision. If you are thinner than most you might want to go one size or a half size smaller.

These work shoes are a bit bulky but my feet still pretty good at the end of a 10 hour shift on my feet.

You need to widen the composite toe, I have a wide foot and even though I got a wide fit it still isn’t wide enough, women do have wide feet.

I wore my shoes for the first time today , it’s great ?, the cushion is awesome, I didn’t expecting it to be that soft but it. I am happy, thanks Zappos and Amazon for providing me with a pair of safe shoes. Being with Amazon for close to 13 years I spent lots of money on buying footwear.

As many new shoes go, you have to break them in. But out of all the styles I have purchase, this one worked for me. I went a half size bigger and it worked out fine.

First pair of safety toe shoes, so not sure how most fit, but these are comfortable so far. The toe box on the wide is spacious, but I wanted to be sure I had room for thicker socks in the winter. I added my own insoles just for a more personal comfort. Great design, more fun than basic black ones most stores carry!

I was a little nervous at first when I put them on they were stiff and felt big, but after about an hour my feet felt good. I went with wide in hopes the toes won’t rub so far so good. They are light weight I don’t really notice them. Only complaints is they are pinker than I thought and the inserts don’t have enough arch support.

Normally wear 8.5, bought 9. Comfy. No crowding of feet or toes. Padding all around. If I bought 8.5, my feet and toes would have hurt. They feel like regular sneakers. Good soles and support.

It’s heavy and bulky. Hurts my feet after a few hours. Always had to get a foot massage after work until I got some prescribed insoles. When it comes to safety, it’s great as I have be a lot of items falling directly on my foot without any issues.

I like the color. Most of the shoe felt great, but not the arch. There is a small ridge on the inside edge of arch support that caused my plantar fasciitis to flare up immediately. Had to return them

I wanted to like these. I am dealing with plantar fasciitis. They seem to have a ridge in the arch that immediately caused my arches to burn. Not for me.

I've had these about a week and I walk about 3 miles every day at work. They feel very big on my feet, even with custom orthotic inserts, and one of them doesn't bend where you'd expect a shoe to bend. The left shoe bends farther from my toes than the right. Every step hurts the top of my foot. I've currently got the bad shoe wrapped in rubber bands hoping to train it to bend in the right spot. I wish I hadn't bought them on clearance because I would really like to return them. Not sure I'll be able to wear them if I can't fix the bending issue.

I have about six or seven pairs of Amazon approved work shoes. These are my absolute favorite though after four days in a row 10 hour shifts on my feet my feet are barely tired. I even wear these shoes on the weekend if I’m going to be walking a lot. I did put the Portalis inserts in them and also added a memory foam insert on top of that that I got for about nine dollars at Walmart. It’s like walking on air.

I call these my finding Nemo shoes. Best shoes ever! Worked 9 hrs with them and never once was hurting. I think this brand is the best out of all of the brands I have tried. Heel may slip out the back, but if you wear a thicker sock or just tie the shoes tighter that fixes the problem. Highly recommended!
