These LL Bean slippers are comfortable straight out of the box. I have tried other brands, some of them good brand names but either they have a seam that rubs on the left and right (I know right, why would you put a seam there? But they did!) or they get baggy and your feet cramp trying to keep them on or the foam inner sole collapses. They're the only thing I want on my feet at home in winter.

I wasn't sure that I'd love these but I am wearing them nonstop around the house now! I got a half size up and they fit perfect with the shearling cushiness inside. They keep me warm when it's cold outside and I keep my house around 62-64 degrees. I will be buying more as a gift for family members.

good quality. the size was fine but not for my little toe. So it was not a problem in size but my toe was hitting the top.For the average person they would be ok.

Slippers take a bit of wearing before they conform to your foot. Comfortable and cozy.

Love 'em...even now before winter, enjoy the coziness and warmth of them. Had a pair and had worn them I guess for at least 3 or 4 years or maybe 5, but had to part with them. They were worn out!

Lasts for years, warm, comfortable and consistent fit

This is a great slipper! I normally wear a size 9 in most shoes, and a 9-1/2 in running shoes, so I ordered 9 and 10. The size 9 was still roomy, and the info card I found under the tissue indicated the wool packs down, and that they should be a bit snug initially. I ordered an 8, and they were perfect. L.L. Bean - please move this small notice up from the bottom of the box! I'm sure it's more efficient in the packaging process, but can be very easily missed.

I have always bought the slippers and decided to try theseLOVE THEM! They do run a little large. I wear a 71/2 and ordered a 7 which still have lots of room in the toe box. Love the pinkish color too. Great for wearing inside and out! Highly recommend as they are super comfy!
