These slippers that came were almost like 2 different slippers. The right slipper was lower on the heel and had a round toe while the left slipper fit my heel higher but had a square toe.

The heel was too narrow for me and my feet slipped off, which could cause a fall.

The inside of this slipper worn out fairly quickly last winter. When I tried to exchange for a different slipper as recommended by the sales associate, I was met with much resistance. I have been a loyal LL Bean Customer for 35 years, but THAT IS GOING TO CHANGE. LL Bean is losing customers because they are not listening to their customers!!!

This is my third pair of these slippers so I have loved them in the past. I wear them constantly until they wear out. I recently started wearing this third pair and after a few days the left slipper started getting runover, I can't walk in them without my left foot sliding to the left. Very disappointing.

I am thoroughly disappointed with this product. They are flimsy and very uncomfortable. The lining of the soul is all scrunched up and the slippers have stretched out so that the flop off my feet. I only went to your site to order them because I had a pair of your slippers for 11 years and it broke my heart to throw them away. Sorry, but that's my review. A big ripoff for almost $80.00.

These slippers had absolutely no cushioning. I am honestly puzzled about the other positive reviews. They were hard as a rock, very narrow even for normal size medium feet (maybe they would stretch in the box toe area with wear?), but I knew immediately that I would return them since they were rock hard with no padding. Bought online at LL Bean and returned to physical store. I don't get it. Where is the cushioning??

no heel, therefore I could not keep them on. I gave them to a friend.

There was a ridge side to side across the arch. Had it not been there, I would have kept the slippers. The ridge hurt my foot. Alas, they had to be returned.

The back of the slipper does not go up high enough. The slipper comes off my ankle with each step I take. You might want to let potential purchasers of this issue. Thank you.

love the slippers but way too wide..very disappointed

They don't even match as a pair. 2nd pair in a year. The other pair, the threads wore out and they fell apart.

Terrible experience; left slipper was defective and caused significant sloping to the left, almost off the sole. I fell once and almost fell several times. I am so angry with your company I can't look at your shoes/slippers any more. They look so pretty, but they aren't UGG. Poor construction. Vi Allan

I have purchase LLBean Wicked Good slippers several times and never experiend smelly slippers. The Squam Lake came out of the box with an off smell I thought would go away but no the smell got worse as I wore them. Real lambs wool does not smell. I am throwing this pair away and wearing my old pair of Wicked Good Slippers. I bought the Squam because there are no ties to deal with and they are attractive. But the odor is not attractive.

I purchased these slippers thinking the $79 price would mean a better slipper than the $15 slippers I've picked up at the grocery store in the past. Nope. After about five months of wear, the shearling has dissolved and I'm left with these cold slippers. The sole is decent - that hasn't worn down much - but I didn't buy slippers to walk over broken glass. I bought them to keep my feet warm. The ordering process was also ridiculous - supposedly my two orders (one for me, one for my spouse) were on backorder, but then the slippers were available without my order being fulfilled. I ended up calling customer service, canceling my existing order and ordering to get the slippers. That's some goofy stuff right there.

These slippers are fine when you're sitting, but they slip off my feet when I'm walking, because the back is so low. Also there is a stiff, pointy tag right at the instep which I had to cut off, and in the process, cut a lot of sheepskin to get at it.

There is no other way to describe how these feel when you put them on, other then to say the footbed feels like they did not finish making them. First off, the wool is extremely thin and the footbed is incredibly uncomfortable. Where your heel goes does not even feel like there is anything under the wool, it just kind of sinks down into nothing. Then there is something hard that runs from one side to the other about where the arch should be. They are incredibly uncomfortable. I do wish I had listened to the other reviews before ordered these. It's a bit aggravating to have to spend money on postage to send back something that is so subpar that they are unwearable.

First off...not made in Maine, :( Secondly, they were way too big for a size 9...more like a size 10. And lastly, you now charge for us to return purchases. I think I'm through with shopping at LL Bean.

No what i expected the sleepers where dirty and they looked cheap. First time buying from this store and definitely last.

These were too narrow in the toe area. They are lovely and probably warm but I could not get my (fairly wide) foot into them.

Impossible to get the size right! Impossible. Wear a 7. Bought a 6 (I own a pair of 6) too big. Exchange for 5. Too small. I lose!

Can't wear with any sock, thick or thin. Feels too small. Also heel feels like it's falling off the slipper. Very pricey so I expected more. This is a Christmas present that I'll be bringing back to the store

The heel on this slipper is too low. It fits more like a mule not a full slipper

Had these for 1 year and they are already wearing through completely. They were comfortable for a bit but the quality and durability just isn't there. Would not recommend these. If they lasted longer I would. It is not the same LL Bean quality that they used to be.

from the photo I thought they were higher in the back. My feet slipped out of them so I sent them back and got a different pair
