This slipper has a slide heel. Not sure if you'd call it a mule or scuff? This is not apparent in the description or the picture. I don't feel safe with this kind of heel. The slippers slip off too easily. Wonderful quality, warmth and color but not for me. Sent back.

I missed in the info and photo that these were low, VERY VERY low at heel...so when I put them on they kept falling off and within minutes I just put them back into the box to return via UPS (going into closed stores with Covid not an option).
I had bought for warmth and they failed that lesson too, given the open back.
VERY disappointing for sure, but these slippers with low heel coverage are dangerous because they literally FALL off as people walk tripping us. Had to dump a pair in summer from another store due to this.
So this pair FAILED on staying on my feet AND keeping my feet warm.

These slippers were ok but a full size too big and the soles seems a little too firm for my tastes. Called in, got excellent support and returned/exchanged for a size smaller and original style camp moccasins. Which I love.

I’m not totally on board with these. I just got them today so they may grow on me. But so far the design is just a bit off. A bit too narrow maybe? I’m not sure. But I’m a bit more excited to take them off than I am to put them on :/

My wife usually gets the bootie but she wanted to try these because they have a hard sole. LL Bean recommends you size-up if you are a half size but don't do it. The 10's were absolutely HUGE (she wears 9 1/2). The 9's fit OK, but still are a little long. They are not as warm as the booties because there is a foam insole with not much wool over it. We'll get the booties next time.

I received the slippers as a gift from my husband for Christmas last year. They were so cozy, soft and warm! But, they have worn pretty quickly. While they are still super comfortable, the fur is gone in spots on the left footbed, and the tops are looking pretty rough. That being said, I still wear them all the time, and still find them very comfortable. So, despite the wear and tear, I still think I'll be asking for another pair this Christmas.

They are very nice and warm but I wear an 81/2 and had to order a 9. They are too big I definitely have to wear them with socks which defeats the whole purpose!!

These are gorgeous slippers -- wish they fit. I bought 1/2 size down (6) in the store, already knowing that a 7 would be way too long after initially purchasing the moccasin online. So the length was fine. But my foot was so scrunched in at the front that I have to unfortunately return. I thought that there would be some natural "give" since shearling is a natural fiber. But the structure of the shoe itself won't allow that: the sole and the edge on the top of the slipper are hard, not soft. When I turned these over to look at the bottom sole, I could see that the shape is very long and narrow compared to other shoes -- more oval than the shape of a foot, with the natural widening where the toes are. I have to wonder if they are made in China, like everything else.

I ordered a half-size below my normal size, and they are huge. I'll try a size down, but wondering why some reviews say they're true to size when mine and other reviewers report the sizing is so far off - I'm guessing inconsistencies in manufacturing with the sizing.

These are obviously well made slippers. But so large. I'm a 9 to 9 and 1/2 but these felt like boats on my feet. I returned them. Didn't want to buy a smaller size since they were very wide as well as too long.

So I absolutely loved these slippers but the sizing is very off and so I ended up returning both 9s and 8s and not ordering any more. I am usually a 8.5 -9 but the 8s were too big and by the time I paid for return shipping on both sets and lost my first order discount, it got so expensive that I ended up not ordering a 7 to try. I think I would be a 7 in these which means they run really large. I am only writing this review in case you are considering them. They are gorgeous slippers and super comfy and the cork sole is very cushiony. But order a size or 2 down.

Very comfortable but should have taken the advice of prior reviews. Usually wear a 9 or 9.5 but the size 9 are huge. Even with heavy socks the are still too big. Will reorder size 8.

The slipper is warm and comfortable but too large. I ordered the size 8 and it was too long, my heels were slipping out. Returned those and ordered a size 7 and the same problem. Returned them too. Too bad because they are very warm.

I ordered these slippers originally in a size 8 and they were too big for my size 7 1/2 foot so I returned them for a size 7. These were also too large, especially in the heel. I was always going to slip out of them. They're darling, warm and comfortable but unless you have a wide foot, you might try a different style.

These slippers felt comfy and had no laces which is a plus. I just wish they had a regular heel. These are low profile heels that don't stay on my feet.
I ordered the purple which was pretty but returned them. Please make these with full padded heels!

I wanted so much for the Wicked Good Slipper to work. Ordered them in the high slipper style. Much too large, especially in the heel. Fell off my feet. Returned them for the Squam Lake style. Much too large, slipped right off my feet. I will return these also but afraid to order the moccasin style. I ordered these in my usual size. Other older reviews said these run small; not for me. Different manufacturer?

I ordered a size 9. It's the size they said to order if I wear a 9 and 1/2. They came and they're huge. I called and was sent another pair size nines. The customer service person thought that mine were labeled incorrectly. The second pair came and they were the same huge size. If I wanted to order a third pair I would have had to have paid for them to get here. That means paying for two pair when both those pair are too big. So I returned the second pair and ask them to send me a size 8. They told me I could wear the original pair until I got a pair that fit me. They're way too huge and my feet slide around in them. The quality is fine. I'm just saying that the size 9 is huge.

I have a very narrow foot so the slipper was too wide. The slipper was well made but I couldn't keep it on my feet.

I LOVE the Llbean slippers, but this style wasn't for me. While I wear a 10, these fit just fine, but the heels were much more exposed than they appeared in the picture. I like a more secure slipper and these felt like I was chasing them to get them to stay on. I'll stick to the ones with the laces.

The slippers were great, except the right one's fur on the outside begins and ends at the back and the left one begins and ends on the right side. There is a definite seam. It is a defect, but I am wearing them anyway, instead of sending them back.
