After returning and ordering a full size smaller than I normally wear, I give these a 4 star rating because of sizing being too large and a still to be determined on how durable they will be. If rating strictly on comfort I would rate them a 5/5. They are "wickedly" comfortable.......what metatarsalgia???? I can now wickedly walk comfortable on wood floors!

This is a beautiful and well made slipper, runs one size too large so I have to exchange mine and I even wear a 1/2 size larger sometimes in regular shoes. So, I would recommend ordering one size down if you will be wearing these with light socks and bear-footed. If you are inserting an arch support pad/orthotic, it probably would work fine. While there is technically no "arch," the shaping of the inside of the slipper does support the arch somewhat, and better than a flat shoe, because of the heel and shaping. I can tell that they are not as lush as the ones made years ago. The wool fur is not terribly thick or long. The sides, decorated with the fur, do not fold up to go around the foot, but are sewn on to the slipper for looks, which seems like a waste. It's a beautiful slipper overall, and nice to see real sheepskin being used, and a nice sole, but runs large.

I am on my third set of slippers. I have given them as gifts to all family members. I love them. 5 stars. BUT I don't understand one thing- the inside of the slippers is this luscious cushioned soft material that is a treat on your feet, but then you add that scratchy tag at the instep. And it is sewn in so not easy to remove. If you cut it out, it leaves a hard stub behind. Please reconsider either the placement of the tag or the material!!!

Please know that I really like my slippers. My bad was that I assumed they were made here. Wicked Good, Maine and all. Oh well. I did look before buying, but only saw that the fleece was imported from Australia. Slippers are made in Myanmar and while that's not a bad thing, I just feel a little duped. My fault entirely. I still recommend them, as long as one does not mind complete imports.

It's hard to rate a product I have to return! I am sure I ordered the best size for me, but it still didn't work. I take an 8 1/2 but did not order a 9 as LL Bean suggested but rather an 8 based on reviews. Most of the slipper fit perfectly (teeny-teeny bit snug in the toe but okay and it says it will pack down). However, the heel was too loose and my heel kept slipping out annoyingly (and perhaps unsafely). I even tried socks (which I never wear with slippers), but it didn't improve it enough. I notice another person's 1-star review with the exact same experience, so I thought it would be useful to add mine. This heel-slipping has happened to me a few times in my life, so perhaps I have a narrow heel, despite my foot overall consistently fitting well in medium width footwear. Oddly, I currently have a pair of slides, and they don't cause my heel to slip. Also, I am flat-footed and prefer a lower arch but this one was doable. Otherwise I thought these were really nice slippers. The purple is a beautiful shade, and the lining is comfy and cozy. I like the non-slip sole. So I will give it 4 stars since they seem like they could be great slippers if you don't have a heel like mine!

These are very warm slippers - which is what I wanted. I usually wear a 7 or 7 1/2 shoe and the size 7 slippers are plenty long for me. I'm glad I did not order one size up. I ordered the greenish color and am very pleased with it. LL Bean slippers I've had in the past have lasted a long time and I expect these will too.

I've coveted the LL Bean Wicked Good fir years & finally ordered them. I usually wear an 8.5 Wide so I ordered a 9 as it only comes in medium. Since it's made of suede I expect it to relax over time, as it's a tiny bit narrow on one foot. The length is about right. I wish there was more support under the arch, but I'll mostly be sitting in my rocker when wearing them.

I'm size 6.5 with Bass Weejuns. I ordered 7 and I was slipping and sliding in the size 7 slipper. Replaced it with a 6 and it fits well except the top is a bit snug but not constricting. But I think it will stretch after a few days. Very warm and wicks away moisture so my feet won't feel damp. Compared to a UGG, it is softer, and the arch support is not as firm. BUT this is stain proof and has finer shearling. Order down if you are 1/2 size.

I wear a 6 1/2 medium. Ordered a 7. It was huge. Should have ordered size 6. Width was fine. It was comfy, warm, and pretty. Just too big

I found these slippers to be much too wide for my foot. I wish they came in narrow. I returned them.

These are great slippers in every way, except that the sizing isn't great for me. I followed the instructions and ordered a 1/2 size up, but they are just a bit too big--about a half size. Too bad they don't come in half sizes.

These slippers are so plush and beautifully comfortable BUT why do you put the size label on the inside, right where the bottom of the foot arch touches down. The contrast of that tag and the soft shearling is noticeable every step. Afraid if I try to cut the tag out, it will cause even more of an irritation.

These slippers are exactly what I've been looking for, but really mis-sized. I have my favorite LLBean leather comfort Mocs in size 8 1/2 Wide, so I thought these 8 medium slippers would be too small. These are too long & wide. I'll order a 7 medium & hope they work! They would get a 5 star review except for the sizing.

I typically wear a women's 6-6 1/2 and ordered a 6. They were at least a size or two too big. Had to pay shipping (because all stores are closed right now) to exchange them and ordered a 5. Which is the smallest size they have and they are still too big. I am keeping them, because I don't want to go through the hassle of sending them back again. They are very comfortable, but the sizing is way off

I love how cozy these slippers are. Some slippers feel sloppy on my feet but these fit just high enough on my heel to feel snug. I got them in pink. Thanks for a nice slipper:)

I really do love these slippers. They fit great when I first got them, but over a few months they have stretched out so now I have to wear socks with them because they slop on my feet. I love the feel of these slippers without socks. They are so soft against my feet. My advise is to get a size smaller than what you normally wear.

I got these slippers as a gift, first size 9 exchanged for an 8 too big exchanged for an 7 these fit perfect at first but now they are stretched out again. I am handicapped and floppy slippers are dangerous. I don't have box or receipt anymore so I'm going to hope I can keep wearing them. Other then that I love them.

Pros: There's lots of space for my toes to wiggle in the wonderfully plush pile. They are cushy, cozy and warm, and the sole on them is great if you need to step outside to grab the paper or take the trash to the curb. These are easily the nicest quality and most comfortable slippers I've ever owned. Cons: I usually wear a 7 1/2 Wide. The 8s I ordered were too big, so had to exchange for 7s, which are still a little long. They would be better if the heel came up higher. They are advertised as a slipper, but really are more of a scuff, which I would have ordered if that's what I wanted.

I do like these slippers but had to order a larger size because they are a bit narrow for my foot. I'll keep them but in retrospect, I should have ordered the Wicked Good Moccasins because they fit my wide foot better. I do like these and they are very warm. I like the sole of these better than the moccasins. They are more heavy duty. If you have a wide foot like me, I'd go for a different style.

Super warm!! I'm always cold, but my feet are toasty in these slippers even without socks. They super soft and cozy. I like the hard sole so I can run outside or into the garage. There's not much arch support here, though. They're quite flat which is OK if you're not standing for a long time. Sizing appears to run a size large. I'm always an 8 but returned them for size 7 and the fit is great. I sprayed them with suede protector to help keep them looking decent longer.

I ordered in size 8, camp green. These are beautiful well-made slippers, but too wide for my low volume foot. I normally wear an 8.5 to 9. The length of the size 8 was perfect, but the slippers were too loose. LL Bean had included a card in the box stating the fit should be snug. I knew in time the fit would get even more sloppy, so sadly had to return. No way I could size down to get a snug fit as length would be too short. I also ordered two styles of moccasin slippers with hopes the fit could be adjusted with the ties: they are also too wide and the ties really didn't work to adjust the fit. I returned them as well. The hunt continues.

I normally wear a size 8 in dress shoes and 8.5 in running shoes. After reading reviews, I ordered these slippers in a 7. They are huge, as long as my running shoes. Probably a 6.5 would be best in length, but aren't made. Aside from length, my feet are swimming in these slippers, and I can almost walk right out of them, except they're now shaped to my feet so this is less likely. There's no arch support, but my feet don't hurt. The best thing about these slippers is the cushioning under the heel. This is a great redeeming factor for otherwise ill-fitting shoes. It also looks and seems that the left slipper is slightly larger than the right. The fleece covering the insole could be denser. The note inside the box saying that the shoe will be tight initially because of the fleece is no longer true because they are not plush, and made for generically big feet. This tag should be left out because it only shows the decline in quality over time. It doesn't make sense if one reviewer who usually wears wides writes that these work fine for her. Clearly then, these are not mediums. The rubber sole is a plus and the suede holds up to moisture from wet grass when I take the dogs out. Again, I love the cushioning but wish for a better overall fit.
