Very poor quality compared to past products. Stitching was sloppy. Poor construction and not
comfortable. Looks cheap. Will be returning ASAP. What happened to LLBean quality?
Certainly not worth the price.

These slippers were great for a few days, but once I wore them for awhile, they lost their support and shape.
These were expensive and I woud not recommend these.

Narrow toe box. Not nearly as comfortable as Haflingers. They seemed to fit fine at first, but after a few days my feet hurt. I realized the toe box was too narrow and it was causing pressure. I would have returned them, except I had already disposed of the box and packaging. very disappointed. First time I have ever gotten a bad product or fit from Bean.

I purchased 2 of the blue ombre tree line design, one for myself and one as a gift, because I love the look in the online photo. Sadly, a big portion of the tree line is cut off on both, which significantly changes the appeal. Without the white 'snow covered' tree in front, it just doesn't look the same at all. I'm so sad!! The photo here reminds me of the Pacific Northwest so much! But, the 2 pair I received are almost totally missing that white tree, and thus missing the feel. Boo!!
Also, rather than being true to size, these are definitely short. So, most likely the gift pair isn't going to work size-wise either. Boo! So very disappointing! And a pricey disappointment!

These wool daybreak scuffs "were" warm, easy to slip on and off and were one of my very favorite slippers. I babied them, only wearing them lightly around the inside of my house. These slippers were great, Until the soles Fell Off after light use!! Since LLBean has changed their policy to Not guarantee their products, I have been using Shoe Goo to try to keep the soles on these slippers and it's not working out so well. I have been very disappointed in the quality of LLBean products, which I have noticed has gone down considerably since they changed their policy to Not Guarantee their products. Taking my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, I have found that you no longer get the quality or service you should for the prices you pay at LLBean.

I purchased a size-8 green moose scuff (ordering up one-half size, as suggested). The slipper was too big. More importantly, however, is the poor quality. The motif on the right slipper is so badly sewn that it began peeling away from the slipper on day 1. I replaced the slipper with a size 7 (and hoping for better quality). Those slippers arrived today. The size is fine (in my case ordering down one-half size was best), but right out of the box the motif is yet again peeling because it's not sewn properly. These are going back too, and I'm too frustrated to order yet another pair.

I wear a size 8 shoe; the slippers that arrived were HUGE. Marked as 8 but no way. I adored my old LLBean scuffs, but absolutely wore them out. These current scuffs are a much poorer quality than my old ones. Returned.

In replacing an older pair (4 yrs old) the overall production quality felt different "Thin and boxy, cheapened down" ....Upon returning, (I hate returning products) I attempted to explain and felt I was ignored. While I realize we're in the middle of a pandemic, I was disappointed that there was no interest in my consumer opinion. I love LL Bean products, and will continue to purchase, just not this particular product.

My wife wears an 8 1/2, but while the 9 was too big, the 8 was as well. Disappointing.

The top portion has huge, misshaped, gaping sides. I haven't seen anything like this in a slipper or shoe. This must be a manufacturer defect. Trying to return this via UPS during covid is going to be a real problem. I am so disappointed. The color & butterfly design are lovely.

These scuffs are darling. I was so disappointed when I put them on because they slipped off my heel, it it was too cumbersome to walk in them. So I figured I just needed to order one size down, so I exchanged them for a size 8, which was clearly too small because my toe hit the edge of the shoe, but they still slipped off my heel. So even tho these shoes have a backing at the heel I believe they are designed to slip off. If you want a shoe that stays on your feet snuggly ... these aren't your shoe. This is the 2nd time I have not had good luck with the fit on an LLBean slipper, which is so dissapointing to me because they are very nice slippers ... just can't get them to fit.

I received the navy with sun and moon on them as a gift in January. A month later 2 tears had begun in the felt of the sun (right slipper) above and below the mouth. I contacted LL Bean and they replaced the slippers. I received the new pair last week and I noticed today that a hole has begun in the felt of the sun in the same spot. I am so disappointed in the quality of the felt used in the design of the slippers.

I so wanted to love these cute scuffs, but I put the first one on and wondered why there was a lump mid foot. Some mistake? A faulty shoe, perhaps? No, it is someone's idea of a bad joke! A most uncomfortable, so-called arch, was inserted and cannot be dislodged without dismantling the scuff. They are going back!

What a disaster. Bought as a gift, but the Slippers are so wide and long that they were a tripping hazard. I do not know if this is a terrible shoe mold or zero quality control, since her foot is, and has been, an 8 R . Had the same problem with sizing of a boot that didn't match the size label a year ago when I ordered boots for myself. Had to return those as well, since LL Bean store had no interest in trying to find a pair that would fit. Clearly, LLBean no longer has any quality control over the sizing of footwear. Very disappointing, since she really liked the slippers, but there is no point in having slippers you are afraid to wear.

I received these slippers for Christmas and have tried to love them. However they are to wide and to long. After clopping around the house I fount the foot bed not comfortable. There is nothing about these slippers that is comfy. I will return them even without the box they came in (that got tossed out with the rest of the Christmas packaging). It's to much money not to.

I bought two pairs of these slippers. The sole fell off the first pair within a couple months. It was so bad, LL bean said they would send me another pair if I agreed to take my post down, however, I never got the replacement slippers. I ordered two pairs, and the second pair has lasted maybe six months with limited wear. These slippers have a big of arch support and they are really cute. But as for being able to run errands in them as the ad suggests, I would have to say don't do it. Not even a quick trip to the mailbox or bird feeder. I will not step one foot outside my house with these slippers - they are very fragile. They are the only slippers I've found with any support and they are very cute - but they are not durable. Also, they discontinued the puffins! Sadly I don't have the photo any longer. I'm sure my current pair will go the same way and I'll take a new photograph.

These are cute but not well made. Both soles came loose after wearing just a few times. Expect more from L.L. Bean.Long time customer.

Slippers are attractive but that's the only positive thing about them. Soles are thin with no support at all and while the front of the slipper fits the mid foot to heal area are so loose and sloppy you literally can not keep them on your feet. Save yourself the $6.50 return fee and find something else.

I wasn't going to review this item, but L.L. Bean sent me several emails asking me to review it. If they keep asking for it, I have to give it to them.
The previous reviews that mention a seriously unpleasant arch in one slipper are 100% accurate. I can't walk 250 steps (as I do each hour) in a row while wearing the slippers; it's just too painful with the left arch stabbing me in the foot.
I'm so disappointed. I had a pair of these from 2010 that wore out & I was so happy when the new pair arrived. They were cozy & the sides were a bit more snug, which was nice.
So, I broke the box down not thinking. Then, a few steps later, I realized my foot kept hurting.
But, I'm stuck with them. I wasn't going to complain - I brought it on myself. Like I said, L.L. Bean kept asking for it. Literally.

Opening is too small to get foot into easily. Too bad because they're really cute and otherwise fit fine. I returned them.

I so wanted to like these slippers; the puffin ones are especially cute. However, they were very uncomfortable and hard, like walking on a bare wooden floor only worse, as there was little to no arch support and my toes were touching the front of the slippers with each step. The length was a bit short, but a full size up would have been too big. These just aren't worth buying.

I got these for Xmas 2018, and after only 2 months, the seam along the side began to tear. The fabric also pilled like crazy. I'm SO sad--these are so adorable, but I need something that will last (these were only worn around the house). I expected better quality from L.L. Bean.

I bought these shoes thinking they were more like slippers with soft cushiony soles, but the soles were very hard and pressed into the arch of my foot. Promptly returned them.
