I have a pair of daybreak scuffs that I purchased 5 or 6 years ago (tree frog embroidery). I liked them because the back ledge went high enough up the back of the heel so it didn't get smooshed. My partner liked the fit of that and wanted her own pair. This new style back ledge is about a 1/4" shorter than the older style and as a result, it isn't as comfortable to wear. Going up 1/2 size might have worked but a whole size would be too big. Returned item and back to the hunt.

I had purchased a pair of these slippers about five years ago and they are awesome. This new version however is disappointing, I wear a size 10 and the newer version are shorter in length; my heel hangs over the material that should cover my heel. It seems like manufacturers are skimping on materials or the slippers are incorrectly labeled. I have always loved LL Bean products because of the quality and consistent sizing. The quality is good, but the sizing is not consistent with years past.

These scuffs get 10 stars for color and critter/outdoor designs, however the construction is lacking. They are very "soft". There is a small heel cup at the back and it has no support at all, so it just folds down when you put your foot in. They really are just bedroom slippers and not very good at that either.

These slippers do not stay on my feet when I walk with or without socks. The back lifts up and yes I have the right size.

I was so excited to get these as they looked so cute. I returned them after the first try on, as they were very flimsy. I was expecting a more rigid slipper

These were nice and looked comfortable and durable. Sadly I had to return them because they were too long and wide - gapped on the sides. I've always preferred the sweater scuffs, but since they changed the design on the women's version to something cheaper and less durable, I haven't ordered them. This year I saw they have a men's sweater scuff just like the previous model women's, so I ordered them in a smaller size and they work great. Bring back the women's sweater scuff previous model.

Like the look, but they did not support my foot arch as good as another pair I received for Christmas.

Very cute, but the back fit was very annoying to walk in. I normally wear a size 8 , which these were, but, the back kept slipping off my heel. If a size 7.5 was offered, I would go with that, but I see half sizes are not offered, therefore, returning for refund.

Lovely colors, the design isn't quite right The odd one light grey tree silhouette that only appears on the toe of one slipper looks like an error, except I read other raters mention it, plus it isn't so evident in the photos used on LLBean site Footbed should be super comfortable but was awkward to me, lumpy and supported in areas that cause your feet to tilt off at strange angles, plus the slippers did not feel supportive nor like they were made sturdily Returned

Disappointed. The small back of the slipper is always crushed down when I slide my foot in. Was hoping it would hold my foot in

This is my third pair of these slippers. The second one, with the adorable penguins, mysteriously disappeared during a move. I ordered these and have been wearing them, alternating with pair #1, but somehow these seemed different. The fit is the same, but they appear to be losing their shape quickly. A few days ago I picked up the two pairs simultaneously, one pair in each hand. To my dismay, I discovered the the original pair is considerably heavier than the new one. On further inspection, I can feel that the material is thinner, having less filling than the original. The inner sole is compacting too quickly. I am disappointed, but this seems to be the case with so many LLBean items in recent years. I can order an identical item a year later, and it's thinner, smaller, and of poorer quality, while the prices keep escalating. I don't have high hopes that this trend will be reversed. If you don't already have a pair, you may be satisfied with these, but I can't say the same for me.

The size fits but the toes are too tight. I'm hoping it will loosen with time. The goat motif is adorable.

Not good. Like walking on tile floors bare footed. Too bad because the upper part is warm and attractive but the soles are not comfy like house slippers should be.

Will not buy again! The cushioning is horrible and has already flattened down to nothing. Only keeping because of the arch support which is hard to find. But cushioning is no better than my old ones so will not buy again unless you make them the way you used to!

Cute design, had a rough patch on the left slipper. Perhaps glue? Could use better quality control

I ordered these slippers in a size 10 because most of the reviews suggested these are true to size and a few even offered that they would advise to "size up" if you are between sizes. I am generally a 9 (but a 9-1/2 in most athletic shoes). After completely the LL Bean survey on sizing I ordered the LL Bean predicted size. Got the slippers today and sadly will need to return because they are a good full size too big-very wide. Quality is great with decent support and a nice sole. I've already reordered and I'm hoping the 9 is better fit. Ordered my niece and my daughter same shoe, same size and am predicting they also will need to size down.

Wearing size 8 1/2, advised to take 9 -was too big to wear SAFELY. Your problem for not my size- HAD TO PAY FOR RETURN!!! No way to do business! Was not my fault you advised wrong size! You are not the upright company I had used for years! Was not a comfy, soft slipper fit.

Feels cheap, fleece inside slippers are minimal thickness, hard sole. Slippers are suppose provide and "ahhhhhh" comfort feeling, these do not. I have not ordered from LL Bean in quite a long time. Confirmed my reason why, their product is low quality since they began to focus on "outdoor". Won't be ordering from LL Bean any more.

I read the reviews, so ordered down (no half sizes!) but they turned out to be too small. Also felt rather scratchy on my bare feet. So back they went.

They run big. Wide and long. Because they are so big, they don't keep my feet warm. Guess I like a snug slipper, not loose.

I've looked yearningly at these slippers in the catalog for years but was reluctant to spend so much. But this time I decided to treat myself. These, at least for me, are horrible. They're so narrow that instead of sliding my foot into them I had to lift my foot and tug them on. Once on, there was a hard/sharp area on the back that, no matter which way I moved my foot, was extremely uncomfortable. I sent them back right away and am more than a little upset that I was charged over $6. to return a defective product. I've for years gotten most of my important footwear from Bean ( hiking boots, winter boots/shoes) and am disappointed that the company is promoting products that are less than the ones that made them great. I got generous with two stars because they really are as cute as the picture.

These were adorable but I am an 8.5 and couldn't really make the 8 work (toes were hitting the front) not the 9 (slipping out of the back). Also they were not super warm, but cute. Ended up with the Squam Lake Wicked Good Slippers which oddly enough doesn't come in a half size either, but the 8 worked in those. Maybe it was the plush lining that made them more comfy but loved that option, not these.
