I wear size 6.5, so ordered a 7 as per instructions. They were too wide and too long. Ordered a 6 and they fit great, slightly wide even with super thick socks, but still very comfortable. I got the raccoon ones. I normally wear a regular width (B) shoe. Hope this helps someone. I do love them.

As many reviews on here have stated, these are a more supportive type house shoe. I ordered the green/moose and they are lovely and look just like the online photo. True to size. Also reccomend the same method for cleaning like a prior review stated--woolite and oxi soak overnight and then air dry. These will last years and years!

Thought I would post a review to let customers know that the slippers are a bit wide but the length is perfect. I wear size 8 and ordered an 8 and it fits well. The color in the picture for the dog motif looks a little light but I am happy to report it is more a medium oak color. I am glad because I thought a lighter color would look dirty. They are very comfortable. I do believe that the material on the inside will compact quickly so if your foot is very narrow the slipper may become too wide for you. I don't mind because in the winter I will likely wear socks anyway. I like the slippers because I like to be able to slip them on and off quickly and they are really cute.

These are extremely comfortable house shoes. Very supportive. My only wish is that they come in solid colors so that I could actually use them as shoes. The designs are a bit much for outside of the house, at work. Any chance, LLBean, of you offering solid colors? Would love them.

I was fortunate enough to find the last pair of these scuffs near season's end in my local store and in my size! I have terrible foot issues, and the daybreak scuffs are so very comfortable I'd wear them year round if I didn't have hot summers. Unless it was raining or snowy, I was wearing my cat scuffs pretty much every day well into Spring - both inside and out. Not only did my feet feel good, I got so many compliments on how cute the scuffs are! And they look great with my perfect fit pants too. The owl will be at the top of my birthday list (this month) and the racoon on my Christmas list. The only advise I have is.....don't worry if the scuffs feel a little snug at first. The material does stretch over time to accommodate even overly large feet - perfect for people struggling with edema. My cat scuffs are still going strong, but they're pretty loose now when my edema isn't flaring up. Since they're my favorites I may just get a second pair of cats for those good feet days!

I got the lobster motif for Christmas based on the secure soles to run to mailbox. I have hip replacements and some slippers with soles are very slippery when damp or wet, not these! My mother had an original pair without motif,that lasted forever. They had been washed at least 4 times as she was on tube feedings and accidents happen. Rinsed in cold water, soaked overnight in woolite and oxi, rinsed until clear, air dry. No odors anymore! No runs, no damage. These wear like iron! Worth every penny, glad they were on my Xmas list. I've been wearing all year long. No sweaty feet, just comfort. Gave my sloppy, cheap slippers to charity. I fully expect to be able to do the same with these newer versions as materials and quality are the same

I love these! Why are they not made in kid's sizes?

These are adorable! I picked the gray/raccoon in my normal shoe size 8. My foot is pretty narrow and these fit me perfectly. I often wear clogs so have no difficulty keeping these on my feet. They are soft and warm and I like them so much that I might get a second pair

I love these!! I picked the raccoons, they are so cute and comfortable. Great for around the house or to walk the dog.

I wasn't sure that I really needed yet ANOTHER pair of slippers (I live in the LL Bean Wicked Good slippers) but thought these were so cute I had to try them...now I can't take them off because they are soooo comfy! Lining is soft and cradling with gentle arch support. I like the traction and rubber bottom for stepping outdoors with the dogs too....I bought the blue with starfish/sand dollar design but already know I will need to buy at least one or two more cute designs :)

I chose the Racoon motif...can I say adorable! I wear a shoe sz 8.5 to 9 so I got a 9 in these slippers and they fit just perfect. I have a fairly narrow foot and no slippage or walking out of them. I love how comfy, warm and supportive they feel. I seriously could live in these slippers. I am so tempted to get another pair. Well worth the money.

I have the dog version of these and LOVE them! I wear 8 1/2 and got a 9and they fit perfect. My boyfriend really wants them in the Owl version but wears a size 12 mens, so I can't buy them for him :( I was addicted to the wicked good slippers but these are warmer, more comfortable, and believe it or not, stay on my foot better! (I have high arches) Love love love! Bonus, when you cross your legs with the dog version it is still realistic! Haha

I love the quality, comfort and cuteness. I've never had slippers with support, so this is a huge plus. I also love that the tops are boiled wool. When I ordered, I considered ordering 2 sizes, just to be sure I got the best fit. I'm still not sure, so I just ordered the next size and will have to wait for the verdict. I normally wear a size 6 1/2 shoe and first ordered a 6 in the scuffs. They are amazing and comfy, yet only without socks; with socks, they are tight and unbearable (too short). I wouldn't mind keeping the 6's and wearing them in warmer weather, yet decided to try 7's as well to see if I can wear them either with or without socks. I have a narrow foot and have only worn the LL Bean slippers (since high school, my first Bean product ever! I think they were $10.) that have a tie and therefore can be made tighter. I'm glad I was adventurous in trying the scuffs and am sure one of the sizes will work.

My wife wanted new slippers for her birthday. Time was running short. L.L. Bean came to the rescue with a version of its moccasins (Bean calls them "scuffs") that feature a cat silhouette that bears a close resemblance to one of our cats. The scuffs fit perfectly and were a big hit. As usual, the quality is excellent. The package arrived right on time. I was reminded again about how convenient and satisfying it is to shop with Bean.

Oh my gosh, these slippers are the best. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe size and bought a size 8 in the slippers, a perfect fit. The moose design is adorable and when my granddaughter saw them, they all want a pair! They were on back order when I ordered them but they are worth the wait!

This is my second pair of these. The first pair I had for about 5 years and completely wore out the soles. This second pair I purchased (with the moose) do not fit exactly like the first pair. Even though it says it is wide, it fits a bit more snug than the first pair, but I'm hoping they will widen with daily use over time. Overall, I am very happy with these and wear them every day. I hope to get a good 5 years at least out of these!

I absolutely love these slippers. They are so warm and cozy and easy to slip on and off. I wear them around the house after work and walking around the yard with my dog. I am almost sad that I will have to put them away for the hot NC summer.

I purchased a pair of these scuffs last November and have worn them almost every evening. There are very comfortable, fit well and still look new. I bought another pair for my sister and she is thrilled with them.

I have wanted these for a long time. Fianlly got my first pair and they fit perfectly. Extremely comfy and can be worn inside and for a quick errand. Great support for working around the house.

These slippers are the best! They are warm and very comfortable. I typically wear a size 9, but every now and then will need a 9.5 I ordered these in size 9 and they are a perfect fit. Nice and cozy and my feet don't slip out of them. I love the starfish and sand dollar design! They were back ordered, but really it wasn't too long of a wait. Best slippers I've ever had. So glad I bought them.

I really love these daybreak scuffs. My only negative is I would rather have plain one's rather then one's with a half of animal print on each side.

I purchased the slippers as a potentially better pair to my cozy sheepskin ones due to a swollen foot that made the other ones harder to put on. These new ones fit the bill. I had never worn open backed slippers before as I thought they would be harder to walk in but that was not the case. The back is just high enough to contain the foot and these are oh so comfortable. I always chuckle when people say they have to have more than one pair. I'm not laughing now but in line to buy more. I went up a half size due to wide feet and that did the trick. They are good for all seasons.

Very comfortable, very well made. Purchased my normal size and they fit perfect. Color is deep (green moose), so warm yet breathable. These will do well on our cooler summer nights. Won't wear these outside until I buy another pair. Love these slippers!

Love the fashionable daybreak scuffs! The soles are great for taking out the dog or the garbage but yet nice for inside. Easy to slide on hands-free and ready to go. Comfy and warm yet not too hot for feet. I would highly recommend.
