I love these cute slippers! I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 WW shoe. My goto slipper for years has been Acorn - which also has only one width, but I buy them big, and because they're soft without much support, they expand enough for my feet to feel comfortable. LL Bean shoes, because they also only come in one width and they have arch support and toe box sructure, were always too tight for my feet. But these soft scuffs really do run wider than their width would indicate. I ordered both an 8 and a 9 and it turns out the 9 is much more comfortable (and really only very slightly too long - these tend to run short), especially with socks in a New England winter. I'm going to keep the 9 and return the 8. I'm so glad Zappos makes it easy to shop this way. Buying shoes by guesswork is hard enough, but if you have hard to fit feet, it's almost impossible to tell from the outside how it will feel on the inside. Being able to compare 2 sizes at once and keep the one which fits better, without paying for return shipping, is one of my favorite things about Zappos. I'm thrilled to be able to wear these cute LL Bean slippers!
