Had hoped to replace the old slippers, but these slippers just don't fit as well as the old slippers do; feel a bit too big.

I wanted to love these, was looking for an everyday inhouse shoe but they were way too wide.

I wanted to get new slippers because I am on my feet all day long and I was starting to get serious foot pain. My previous slippers were just the fleece scuffs with no sole or support on the bottoms so even at home my feet would hurt working in the kitchen, etc. It is surprisingly hard to find slippers that have arch support and sturdy bottoms, so I was hoping these would do the trick! It is true, they have made my aching feet feel so much better! Great support and stability. However, they make my feet sweat so much since the wool is lined with a felt material that is not breathable at all. Additionally, I normally wear a size 8, but had to get these in a 9. They feel a little roomy, but I don't mind that as much. Debating returning these since I really do not like foot sweat!

These are so comfortable, especially for my wide feet. Very warm. Love them. My only complaint is that they make my feet smell something awful. I've never had a shoe before that made my feet smell and that includes other wool clogs. I have to wear socks (which I'm not fond of) and they still get a little smelly.

LOVE this slipper. It has helped me with my sciatic nerve pain and foot pain in general. That said, I wear them every day in the downstairs level of our house and the lining was coming off within a week or two. I wear thin socks with them now because the lining is GONE. The sock makes my feet too hot but I have no choice. The cork sole and the shoe itself are still functional and comfortable but they need to figure out a better lining for these. I'm on my second pair and hate that I love them so much even though the lining is terrible. So prepare yourself for a GREAT house shoe, but don't expect them to look pretty.

Ordered size 8 which is normal size I wear. Slippers closer to a size 10. Sizing is too big.

I like the gray color with decorative ribbon around edge. True to size. My only concern is they are very wide, makes my feet look like I'm wearing slippers, which was not the look I was going for. Unfortunately, I can't wear them with outfits I thought I would.

I bought these and another brand of slipper when I broke my toe surfing and needed to hobble around in something warm and easy to get into in the Chicago winter. I also wanted slippers that were not made from dead animal. These did beautifully. I wore them as regular slippers indoors afterward, again only in the winter. The outer sole is in great shape, but I've been dismayed by the inner sole, which wore quite thin after 1.5 winters. I will buy cheaper slippers going forward.

I have had multiple pairs of these clogs over the years and I love them. One of the reasons I love them is that I don't need socks. The wool in the shoe is more than enough to keep my feet warm even in the coldest of seasons. This is only available in full sizes so I went up to the next size and I feel like my feet are swimming inside. I used them outside on my first try since I'm used to a perfect fit. Lesson learned.... I have added heavy socks and they fit fine. I'll probably use these more outside now that they require heavy socks and they probably will not get worn quite as often.

I LOVED MY OLD PAIR... WORE THEM OUT! This version the lining wears through quickly leaving a rubber type insole. Wouldn't recommend this version to a friend.

I wear wool clogs all winter long and was excited to try these from LL Bean. They are very comfortable on my 8.5 size foot with medium weight socks, but too big with lightweight socks. The downside - after just a few months of indoor wear, the inside lining around the foot is falling apart. I may have to go back to my favorite Haflingers.

These clogs are comfy and solid, maybe even a little clunky. But they're practically falling off my feet. I'm a solid 7 in just about every shoe so I don't get it. Maybe with thick socks they would fit but I don't like the feel of thick socks so back they go. I'm afraid a 6 would be too small.

Unfortunately these clogs are very uncomfortable on the upper foot. They are going back. Nice quality slipper/shoe but too rigid. Not for me.

these were a gift to my wife. She has had this product before. The clogs fit alright, but they feel clunky.

I have had a slipper like this for years and loved them. The sole fell apart so ordered a new pair. These were very uncomfortable . They were very rough and rubbed on the top of my foot . After an hour of wear I had blisters around wher the slipper touches my upper foot, from ankle to ankle. It seems like a new design and possibly cheaper wool material.

This slipper is very comfortable (runs wide, which I like) and wonderfully warm. Less appealing is that it leaves black marks on hardwood floors (easily wiped away) and the wool is not a tight boiled wool so it sheds and pills. I would recommend it for those with limited hardwood flooring.

Based on the great reviews, I was really excited about getting these slippers, but they didn't work for me at all. I have high arches, and it felt as though there was no arch support at all. I tried wearing them for a couple days to let them hold to my feet, but by then my plantar fasciitis returned and hurt so bad that I had to put my old Superfeet insoles in them. That didn't work either since the uppers are quite stiff, and the soles (a part from the foam insole) are very hard. All around very uncomfortable, so they are going back. Three stars because they do seem to good quality. I have had much better luck with the Wicked Good clogs. These actually do mold to your feet and provide arch support!

If the size six is going to fit like a 7 then it's certainly too bad that you don't carry a 5. I had a pair of these that lasted beautifully for years but these are NOT the same ...very body wide shape, stiff in the sole..had to return and now don't have an alternative. Disappointing

The slippers have innersoles, so even though the outer soles match a size 38, inside they are too short. Without the innersoles, the slippers are flat and the surface is scratchy. I'm ordering a 39. I can't return the 38s because I wore them before I tried them with socks and realized they were too small. But they are pretty and the quality is good.

I bought these to replace a tattered pair of Halflinger clog/slippers. Pros: The Bean clogs seem well-made and have some nice cushioning. Cons: Not as much arch support as the Halflingers and they don't breathe as well. Wish the arch support was better! Overall: Decent for the price.

I ordered my usual size 7 and they were too big. Tried a size 6 and they were too small. I ended up returning the 7s because my feet were sloshing around in them, even with heavy socks.

This top was too big around and the sleevles were too long. I had to return it. The material is very nice.

Didn't care for what seems to be padding in the top. Prefer the real thing ~ nice thick boiled wool as it creates warmth but allows breathability. Didn't care for the footbed either. I am spoiled by the tried and true ones with the cork footbed covered in boiled wool. Really wanted to like them, but didn't.

I had a pair of LLBean wool clogs in the late 90's and loved them to death - literally. So when I saw these I was overjoyed! I read the reviews, made my purchase and anxiously awaited my clogs. They arrived and I have to say I was severely disappointed. They are nothing like those old clogs. They are huge! Like bulky huge, not size huge. They remind me of those wooden clogs that are all over-sized on feet. The inside was comfortable and they were very warm (I only tried them on for a few minutes) but not what I wanted. I would have benefited from a picture of the shoe on a foot to see the size ratio. The construction was top notch as LLBean standards usually are. They just were not what I expected. I hope that they are perfect for those who order them though! The return was easy peasy :)

I am currently having issues with weight gain and swollen feet from medication, so I particularly wanted a slipper that would be easy to get on and give me some support for my arches. Unfortunately, the top edge of the slipper is too stiff, not soft and flexible as I thought it would be (so it is harder to get on, I can't see trying to get into these while needing to use the restroom in the middle of the night), and it comes up higher (closer to the ankle) than I thought it would. I can get my feet in the slippers but with difficulty, and although they offer arch support, they are overall not comfortable for what I need at this time. I've tried a few steps and they seem to get a little more comfortable, but the getting them on issues will probably have me sending them back. I bought Gierups for my husband at the same time, and I tried one of his Gierups on - not enough padding in the footbed. Sigh. So sorry that these don't seem to be right. The search goes on.
