I really love the design on the shoes but the band inside of the shoes make them kind of tight.

Good but not very comfortable

Got these for lifting and they're pretty much perfect. Super cute and nice flat bottom. I'm just annoyed because I tried on some other vans in a store (since I'm a first time buyer) in the exact same style except for the suede and a 6.5 was perfect. Wish I'd listened to the other review here and sized down to a 6. I feel like I'm going to trip over the toes at some point because the shoe is just a bit too big. I've worn them now unfortunately and didn't feel like dealing with return shipping right around the holidays.

I ordered these for my son, who's almost 11 and is a skateboarder. He had the Old Skool in high top form before, and loved them but struggled to get them on and off because of all the laces. I figured these would still look good and be functional for skating but hoped he wouldn't need so much help tying his shoes every morning! It's been mostly successful, although these have an elastic band inside the tongue that also make them a little hard for him to get on, and he complained that they felt tight at first, but now that he's worn them in a little I think he's comfortable in them. Overall a good purchase; wish they were a little easier to loosen up for lazy kids!

The shoes are comfortable except for the seams. Seams rubs on a scar and is really uncomfortable for me.

These shoes are super cute but the red bleed all over the white shoe laces immediately. That part sucks. Be careful what you wear them under cuz they will probable bleed on that too.

I don't skate. I'm just a middle aged guy looking for a decent pair of black sneakers to dress up some jeans. Not the absolute most comfortable I've ever owned, but still pretty good and the best ones I was able to find on this round. Black laces would have been a little better than the white ones, but easily replaced. Wish there was also one of those slots on the tongue to run the laces through.

Love the comfycush feel but colors fade without washing shoes, cheap material? cheap coloring? disappointed have to buy shoes just because they start looking old, lame.

I really loved the pattern on this pair. The width is not that different from the classic Old Skool Vans, but the height on top of the big toe is smaller. It was fine for walking, but I danced in them for a few hours one night, and my big toe nails have been purple for two months since. I iced them, but it didn't help other than the pain. This never happened before with any pair of shoes I've had.

This is probably my tenth pair or so of these shoes. I'm not sure what changed? This is the first pair that gave me blisters on my heels. I love Vans and hope this doesn't continue to be an issue.

Not nearly as comfortable as advertised. I find I need to wear socks to make them comfortable . Other comparable brands are fine without socks.

Awesome shoe and super comfortable. Own over 20 pairs of Vans. But these arrived scuffed and a little dirty looking. Will still buy again though

not bad but order a half size up and you'll be golden

I have the classic slip on's and while they are hard at the bottom the width is perfect. The comfy cush slip on's run wide.

I bought my normal size, but it was too small. I don't know if it's the extra padding or what but I had to return them.

Way different in fit than the classic slip ons. Kinda disappointing. Sadly I already wore them outside trying to see if they'd get more comfortable and they didn't.

I love the shoe but they run small ! So I have to return unfortunately. They are a size 8 so I would size to 81/2 if they do half sizes. Good looking shoe!

I really tried to like these shoes, as the new midsole and arch support felt really good on my heel and the bottom of my foot. My problem was that these seemed narrower than other OldSkools I've had in the past. I ordered them in the size I've always worn in Vans, and these pinched my toes to the point I couldn't wear them for more than a few hours. Sad to say they're headed back.

They feel cheap. I should have gone with the original pair.

I wanted to love these shoes, but the toe box is way too narrow. Sole is soft, but they are a smaller shape/width than the regular Old Skool.

no support, toebox a little tight. I'll probably wear them around for errands, but disappointing that they won't work for anything else.
