Narrow. I wear a 9-1/2 M and this shoe is tight on the widest part of my left foot and pretty snug on my right foot, too. The toe box is also shallow, making the length of the shoe feel like it might be too short, even though it isn’t. They’d probably be passable with a little break in if it weren’t for the fact that my feet and ankles tend to swell with walking and/or heat. I need more space than this shoe provides. Too bad, it’s a good looking shoe. One rather annoying thing is that the laces provided are about 4” too short. I was barely able to tie them.

I have really bad feet with a significant bunion on one foot. Cole Haan W shoes always work for me and they are much better looking than other comfort shoes on the market. These sneakers don't pretend to be something else, but they still look good, even with informal skirts, and they were immediately wearable for longish walks.

The other reviews are accurate - these shoes run very narrow. Luckily I have pencils for feet and these fit perfectly. So if you buy a standard width shoe and those feel roomy, these might be for you!

Fit was true to size. Love the style- I've had them for about a month and wear them frequently to work. I am a teacher and on my feet all day, these are very comfortable and I would highly recommend them!

I love these shoes! I have thin feet and it's hard to find shoes that fit this well. I was looking for something similar to Converse, but a nicer style, these are perfect. I ripped out the insoles and put in my custom insoles. I usually wear an 8, bought an 8, perfect fit! Yay!

This size 9 is VERRRY snug through the toe box. It’s a great looking and solidly manufactured court shoe but I shd have ordered a 9-1/2. ZAPPO customer service is excellent tho, as always. It’s why I shop ZAPPO.

It’s a little more narrow than I expected, but it still fits my foot. The canvas is very stiff, but will likely soften with wear. They look great!

I ordered these because of the reviews that mentioned that they were somewhat narrow. My feet are not quite narrow so I'm always looking for shoes that are a bit on the slimmer side. These worked. But....the sides are a little too tall and they rub on my ankle bone. So if you need a shoe that's a little narrow and you don't have boney ankles, these are your shoes!!
