It is marketed as 3 layer so I assume it is. It's stretchy and the nose metal doesn't clamp down to a seal but it's very comfortable, covers my nose, mouth and goes under my chin and remains in place even after being washed. I have no way to determine how effective it is.

Pretty good mask but they need better "nose strips" as the metal is a bit weak and requires more adjustments than is really safe to do in a pandemic... as one shouldn't be touching one's face to get the mask to stay sealed properly.

I've ordered several packages of these masks. The sizing is not always consistent. They do wash well and last a quite a while.

These are the most comfortable masks I've worn. They don't ride up under my eyes like others. I'd prefer them not as thick, but comfort wise they're great.

mask is a little small and seems also thinner than some other masks I have, but that makes breathing easier.

Bought this as a gift an addition to the ones my father already had. He likes them a lot but says they do tend to run just a tad small.

These masks are comfortable before they are washed and dried. I guess I should have hung them to dry. They shrink, and became uncomfortable. The reason I didn't give them a five is that and also they are not recommended for use in a medical setting where I work most often. Other than those two complaints they seem to be high-quality as are most of the Hanes products I have purchased in the past. I recommend them for use other than in medical settings, and also do not recommend that they are washed in the washing machine and dried in the dryer. They can be washed in the washing machine, but need to be hung to dry to ensure they do not shrink.

Masks are extremely comfortable and breathable! Only down side some masks have loose stitching

Great quality. Holds up well after many washes. Soft "Hanes" cotton. Only complaint is the ear loops could be a bit longer.

Mask fits well & the additional ability to secure on nose is a great feature. Worth the money.

Super soft & comfy. A bit large for my face so had to put safety pins in earpiece to make smaller. Note: Since earpiece not elastic it's comfier, but also needs to fit more precisely.

I've bought these at a big box store, as well as on the Hanes website. I've also bought both colors. The black definitely fits better than the white. The ear loops on the white ones seem to have less stretch and seem smaller. I wear the black masks daily at my job and they're fairly comfortable considering the circumstances. My only questions are: are these only two layers and how truly effective are they in protecting the wearer? I presently work in a store and there are a lot of customers who either refuse to wear a mask, wear one below their nose or wear their mask below their mouth. I hope these truly protect the wearer. This pandemic has shown people's true colors. People want to politicize this virus when it's been all over the planet, not just here. Right now, a friend's 13 year old grandson is in the cardiac unit with Covid, but some people want to think of it as another flu. I even wear one on my day off, all day long, when I'm visiting with my granddaughter because I do my best to try to protect the people I love. These black ones are the most comfortable I've found.

I like the masks, however some of them were missing the extra fold of cloth on the side between the ear piece on my last order.

These are so soft on my extremely sensitive skin. I love that I can throw these in the washing machine with everything else (no handwashing). The nose wire is great.The newer ones seem a bit weaker than previous orders. I love the fit but may be a bit small for some. The sizing seems to vary somewhat from batch to batch. Overall these are my preferred masks.

The only thing that doesn't make this a 5 star is that one size fits all is that it fits my face perfectly. But I'm a petite woman, so if you face is larger you might have an issue with this facemask. Other than that, it is extremely comfortable. I have rosacea and my skin is highly sensitive to rough material, but this mask doesn't bother me like regular cotton ones do. It also passes the candle test, so there's that.

They are fine for my use, I would not, however, recommend them for long term use. Say, while working all day.

Comfortable, well-made mask that is tight around cheeks and chin. Sadly, despite the adjustable nosepiece, glasses are still fogging up.

Love the Hanes masks! Originally purchased a 10 pack to try them. We loved them, so came back for the 50 pack! Sadly they were a little different. Took off a star because the adjustable noise piece in these is thin and not as good as the ones in the 10pk I received. Still good masks though!

Quickly our favorite masks. Only issue is that the ear straps are quite tight.

The mask are kind of small. Definitely should make these mask bigger. Otherwise, the fabric is very soft and will be great for workouts and runs.

Runs small. Good if you have small face. Less good if you have a medium face.

Second time ordering these masks and Hanes lowered the quality from my first order. With that being know. they do the job wash nice and seem to hold up as of now.

This is truly the softest face mask ever! They are always the first ones I grab when leaving the house. I think if you have a wider face they seem a little small but I think they are great.

I guess I'm not most. They fit tightly, which is nice and good, but they pull on my ears pretty hard, making me look like I'm trying to use them as wings.
