Customer Reviews O'Neill Hyperfreak S-Seam 21" Boardshorts

My partner is tall and lean - 6'2", 155 lbs, and most swim trunks just look like TENTS on him. These look amazing - they don't balloon out, actually fit (!) and he said they're really comfortable. He normally buys 32x32 pants, which are a little loose in the waist - he wears a belt; he bought these in a 31. They're perfect. They hit about an inch or two above the knee. They have some stretch to them so even though they have a slim fit they're not constricting. He wanted more pockets but is happy enough with the zipper pocket on the right thigh. All-in-all, a very great buy. We're both so pleased. If you have bigger or athletic thighs I'm not so sure these are the shorts for you, however that stretch could help them be comfortable if you're looking for a tighter fit.

31' fit perfect and is normal waist in jeans etc. 6'2 170 lbs. Happy with quality of material and construction.

Seams falling apart after just one wear. My old Hypefreak boardshorts were made in Cambodia. Best boardshorts ever. So I ordered a new pair. New ones are made in China. Two seams started coming unraveled after just one wear. The material is great, but construction quality is sub-par. Shame.
