Wanted these for occasional winter wear. They appear to be stove pipe shaped in pics which would have fit my larger calves. Based on product description they should have been perfect but they were HUGE! This might have worked if they were the stove pipe shape...could have scrunched them down. But they were shaped following the curve of the calf and just gaped. The ankle was tight and it was difficult to get my heel in the boot as well as take off, with absolutely no foot bed padding. I'm a solid 8.5 and this felt at least 1/2 size too small. Additionally the vegan material was cheap looking, which would have been OK if everything else about this product had been as it was shown in the pics. Like I said, I only wanted them for an occasional wear with maxi skirts but sadly I'm sending them back. Thanks Zappos for making the return process painless!!

I have larger calves and have always had problems finding tall boots. Wide styles are usually too big and regular fit styles are mostly too tight. These fit great and are really cute.

Love the look and comfort of these boots. I ordered the wide calf and they are way too wide (I used to ice skate so boots usually are too tight on my calves)

These boots were gorgeous in the pictures. I have a wide calf, but wow! These boots look like waders on me. The calf is SO WIDE!

These boots are very cheap feeling. As soon as I put them on, I hear the heels crunching because they are so cheaply made. The calves are also wider than advertised.

There s no structure to these boots whatsoever. Few steps and they become ankle boots.

Beautiful but the wide calf was so big I could fit both my calf’s in there. Had to send back

Nice quality material and loved the heel height but way too wide on the calf. Sadly had to return.

The calf of the boot was entirely too big. I returned the boots right away.

I think they should be labeled as extra extra EXTRA wide calf. Haha. These would be good to wear under wide leg jeans so they would stay wide leg. The are very comfortable though.
