Good news: they are definiteley wide calf. I have a 16" calf and have a hard time with tall boots, but there was plenty of room in these, especially at the top, so they really might work for some people. Bad: These boots look cheap IMO. I would love it if someone would make a real suede boot with a wide calf as opposed to "vegan" suede.

I'm a dancer and a runner. My calves are 15 inches. These boots were precious, but calve area was way bigger that 15". The boots were comfortable and very well made. I'm sorry to return them

These are really beautiful boots, especially for the price! I've had a lot of trouble finding boots to fit my calves and these are just right. Easy to put on and where with a long skirt. I really love these!

These boots are super cute, easy to put on and fit very nicely. The heel is higher than I anticipated but love them! They arrived sooner than expected!

Overall a nice boot. But, if you have thin legs like me, the boot cuff is too wide. Sadly I had to return the boot.

Nice looking boot but too large in the calf for my large calves and too small in the toe box for my orthotic insole. Sorry to have to return.

Well the size of the boot is perfect however, due to my lack of oversight the calf size I purchased was a bit too big. I will be exchanging for a wide calf instead of and extra wide calf. But I will definitely love including this in my fall boot collection.

I did return as style of this particular boot made my leg look larger than it already is.

I was hesitant on ordering Journee because I’ve never heard of the brand until Zappos started selling it (and a lot of this brand). I decided to give them a try. I didn’t love the quality, it felt cheap. The size fit, so I would say true to size, but the shaft of the boot was way too big. I sent them back.

I did not receive the black boots that I ordered instead received a pair of tan shoes. Customer Service couldn't determine how to send the correct shoe. Eventually cancelled the order. Poor service.
