Don’t buy these is you are looking for a jet black boot. I ordered these in black and the ones that came in are a dark gray with brown accents.

This is really an ugly boot on me. While the length of the foot was correct, the rest of my foot and calves were swimming in too much room. They looked dumpy and cheap. I have athletic calves and a medium foot width.

Super cute and comfortable

Like the other reviewer, I ordered the black. These are not black but more grey/taupe. I love the color though. The leg shaft is very generous. Surprisingly so since this brand is also available in wide-calf and extra-wide-calf. The Carly Boot has the advantage of the decorative back straps so the full shaft is less noticeable. I plan to keep them. Am returning the Meg Boot and the Spokane Boot as the shafts are just to wide for my taste.

While I wanted to love the boot, the shaft was way too big. I have thin legs, but I didn't expect them to be so big, particularly since they come in wide and extra wide. Had to return.

I really love these shoes! The style of the shoes are amazing. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on them and they are very comfortable and warm. The only thing is is I think they run a little big. I normally wear a 7.5 and I could easily fit into a 7.

I like the boot

I love these boots! They’re so cute and comfy to wear. They feel true to size and I’m very happy with them overall.

I normally wear a wide. The regular width fit just fine in the foot area. These are a bit roomier in the calf than I need. I ordered the regular calf, not the wide calf. The boots were super comfy the first time I put them on. There is a nice insole that added to the comfort.

The only thing I didn't like about this shoe was the color, it is described as black but is definitely grey.

Nice over all. But they are more of a charcoal color - distressed black. If you are looking at black and want a true black these are not it.

I don't know if it's just because my feet are large (W12) or because everyone seems to have wide calves but wow!! They could be smaller in the calf by 2 inches all the way up my leg. Where are all the small calf tall boots?

Calf width is too big. Cute boots though.

The foot length is dead on but it is very loose around the foot. I guess that would allow for thick socks. My big issue was the calf...even the normal calf size is very loose and I have above average sized calfs. You can see inside the boot and if it were the same color as the boot it would look a lot better.

The length of the foot is good and there is room for thick socks but the calf is really big and makes the shoe look cheap when you can see the inside and it's a lighter color than the exterior

These boots are too wide for me. Supposed to be a 12 medium w/ a regular calf size and yet the boots felt too wide throughout. Thanks anyway.

Extremely large calf circumference. I am average sized and these boots, while a cute style, made me feel like a cartoon pirate. Returning them.
