This bag is hardy and sleek. The material feels and looks great. Hands down my best duffel bag. The only flaw I note is that it lacks the long shoulder strap going down the middle. You can use one of the backpack strap as a shoulder strap, but it feels awkward when carrying it horizontally like a typical duffle. A simple solution for Northface would be to add two strap clips down the middle of the bag (in between the two back-pack straps), that way the bag would become even more versatile. Carrying it as a backpack feels great and is also really convenient. The product is amazing, it just lacks an essential duffle-bag feature. With that said, I still give it 5 stars, I like it that much.

My husband and I each bought this base camp Medium duffel (in gorgeous yellow) for our Virgin Islands boat trip. We loved the back pack feature as well as the ability to use this as a carry on bag for our flights. The bag was roomy, waterproof and rugged -/ clearly well made.

Fantastic travel/surf/climbing duffel. Very spacious and great design! Plus the logo print is pretty tite because it's easy to spot in the mix with others.

This is a very nice, high quality bag with a thoughtful setup. This is a perfect carry on option.

This bag was surprisingly stiff unpacking. Although it makes it tricky to pack down, it feels like it's very durable and can take quite a bit of wear and tear. Lots of well thought out compartments and quality zippers, seams etc.

Love that it has shoulder straps, but could also be carried using the handles. It fits my tent, with room to spare for other items. The material feels durable and it comes in a small zip-up case for easy transportation.

This bag is fantastic for weekend trips, as a carry on or for short day trips on the boat. I have had one of them for several years, very durable, ages well works great as a companion piece to my larger North Face luggage.

Unbelievable! When this bag was delivered to me I thought "oh no it's kind of small". I took it to NYC for five days. It held everything I needed and traveled endured some snow, some rain, and the rough handling of baggage claim. If you don't buy this one because you need to carry a week to ten days, then buy the bigger one. But whatever you do just buy one. And no I'm definitely not one of the paid affiliates, I'm just a believer. TNF makes great bags.

I like the material on it very easy to clean

A great size duffel bag to take on a plane and a plus is that I can wear it as a backpack to have an equal distribution of weight with the bag instead of having one arm getting tired out.

This bag is absolutely perfect. The straps make it super easy to carry. There's enough room for a week's worth of clothing. And it fits perfectly in the overhead compartment. I would definitely buy again.

Colorful

Roomy, rugged, rich in looks. This medium size duffel is perfect for weekend or week long trips. Whether I use the provided straps to carry it like a backpack, or the single strap to drap it over one shoulder the versatility of this duffel means it works for me on the road, on the plane, and on the mountain.

So many options in this space, but I ended up buying after reading the reviews compared to other options an the bag did not disappoint. I am very impressed with everything about the Base Camp Duffel.
