Perfect day to day bag. Holds 2 water bottles and my laptop perfectly.

I use the bag because I carry a lot of stuff of my person and the recon backpack makes it much easier and comfortable to do that

The Recon just became my favorite EDC bag for the office and weekend excursions. Well built and great looking. Storage options and capacity mean I can swap out my laptop for my water bladder and IFAK without feeling like I left something behind anywhere I go.

It's kinda small for all my books to fit, but it's a great bad for school.

Best bag in the business. The bag is very spacious and has enough space for all the things you will need for school. A 15 inch laptop fits in very comfortably. I strongly recommend this bag!

Very impressed. Simple, durable, comfortable... the whole package. You simply can't go wrong with this pack. I bought it primarily for school, but the Recon is suitable for just about any activity. I especially like the rigidity of the arm straps. Definitely not cheap and plushy like most other packs. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the water bottle pockets... they're a little bit stiff for my liking. However, not a big deal and will surely be able to handle the wear of frequent use of my water bottle. Well done, North Face.

Perfect size to carry laptop, binder, and books. Not too bulky.

Overall decent quality. The color "Arrowhead Yellow" looks less like an arrowhead and more like something Dwight Schrute wear to work.

Use this everyday for work to carry my stuff and it's perfect!

I bought this for my son because I thought the first one I bought him several years ago had worn out. Boy was I wrong. My son uses the pack at school everyday in all weather while riding his bike.Now Im a very lucky owner of this pack.

Purchased for commuting on the train. Holds everything I need and allows me to keep my hands free. I will be sure to use it out for hiking daytrips or long weekends. Simple and versatile.

This is a great, solid backpack that will last many, many years! We bought this for my son to use through college. It has plenty of storage space for all the supplies he will need, and even room to pack extra clothes, water bottle, food, etc.
