This backpack is everything I need as an EDC pack. Plenty of pockets that serve the different needs of an EDC pack. The waist strap is also a great plus to turn this into a hiking backpack. The only downside to this pack is the lack of integral strap management. I have to use some rubber bands for that in order to avoid having the straps loose and giving places for the backpack to get caught on when interacting with tbe environment.

This backpack is fantastic. I really love the way it feels on my back. All the kids at school are jealous of my new backpack. It is good at holding things. I will never buy another backpack in my life.

Love the product. I ordered in store and they had the wrong shipping address but they had my billing so someone else ended up with a free backpack. They must have had their information in the iPad before mine and did not clear it when I made my order.

I purchased this backpack for my fianc and he absolutely loves it. It's a classic, simple backpack that's perfect for everyday use. It's the perfect size, not too big or bulky and not too small. Will definitely be a go to backpack even for traveling or hiking! Would highly recommend

I use this product for college and it is a great backpack. It is not too big and bulky and has enough room for a long my books that I carry around all day.

Got this backpack for my son in high school who brings a laptop and several heavy books to school. Nice and sturdy. The side pockets are also sturdy to carry heavy drinks on each side.

So far its a great Backpack! Not taken out yet for a hike but im sure it will do great. Love all North Face products!!!

I carry my 15 inch laptop and still have lot more space left. The back plate is comfortable. I also use this backpack for a small hiking trip.

Are use the backpack for urban backpacking and what can you say about north face quality is good design is perfect just a very tremendous value

I definitely would recommend the Recon Backpack. I really like more than anything the amount of organized pockets this backpack has. It's great for my commuting and traveling needs. If you get a chance check out the preview video on the Recon page. I got the TNF Navy Blue and TNF Black. The blue pops hard. It's a beautiful bag. it's a 30 liter bag which should be enough space for anyone with medium to light packing. Give it a try, you can't go wrong.

Love the pack a bit big for my purposes am giftin to my son and I replaced it with Borealis. Which will be great for work and travel. The carrying system is very comfortable. Even weight distribution with a low profile.

Great for travel, to take your computer, books and clothes. Very confortable, light, practical, would definitely buy again. Thinking about buying one for my brother and a friend. Great quality, you will not regret buying one.

Love the look and design of this backpack. Water bottle side pockets on each side is a plus and the fit and adjust well.
