It's my college backpack and it's the perfect size. I fit my laptop and ipad both comfortable and there is so much space in this backpack. Recommend 100%

My bf loved it:) it is a bit smaller than expected, but he loves it because it fits everything for the daily.

This backpack is great. It's comfortable, organized and sleek. I'm a graphic designer and I like to carry some key essentials with me when I travel one place to another. My essentials include: a laptop, an ipad, apple pencil, charger cords, pens, field notes books and a planner. This pack allows me to carry everything with specific compartments for each item to eliminate any of that interior movement. If there's one thing I truly admire: it's organization. Don't forget there's water bottle pouches on the side (stay hydrated!) and an additional section for clothing, snacks (if you ain't snacking, ya slacking) or anything extra beyond that! The straps are comfortable and come with enough play for adjustments within those straps. When I'm not designing or commuting, I'm hiking or adventuring somewhere. I'm confident this pack will suffice all activities. If you're anything like me, or just looking for a solid pack... purchase this one. You won't be disappointed.

I use this pack for everyday work and light back packing for short day hikes. It has great storage for laptop/iPad and books. It's incredibly comfortable and ergonomic design on your back.

I love my recon ! I use it for work and the gym and it fits my barbell pad, sweater/sweats! &Other gym accessories! For work I use an iPad and it's always protected and doesn't bottom out with the special area it has. Definitely get if you like Multiple pockets! Very comfortable!

A well made backpack with a large protected laptop compartment that I'll be using for college and as my carry on for travel.

The revamp has me a little perplexed. The side pouches are a bit stiff. Not like the old versions mesh. I do enjoy the new zippers and straps they are well put together and so far seem like solid construction. NF has a great brand reputation and I doubt this bag will disappoint!

Perfect day to day bag. Holds 2 water bottles and my laptop perfectly.

The Recon just became my favorite EDC bag for the office and weekend excursions. Well built and great looking. Storage options and capacity mean I can swap out my laptop for my water bladder and IFAK without feeling like I left something behind anywhere I go.

Best bag in the business. The bag is very spacious and has enough space for all the things you will need for school. A 15 inch laptop fits in very comfortably. I strongly recommend this bag!

Very impressed. Simple, durable, comfortable... the whole package. You simply can't go wrong with this pack. I bought it primarily for school, but the Recon is suitable for just about any activity. I especially like the rigidity of the arm straps. Definitely not cheap and plushy like most other packs. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the water bottle pockets... they're a little bit stiff for my liking. However, not a big deal and will surely be able to handle the wear of frequent use of my water bottle. Well done, North Face.
