High quality. I have bought my son name brand backpacks for his entire school time and I always have to buy him another one half way through the year because they break but, not with Northface the quality is amazing and he has enough storage and compartments to store more than what he needs.

I just this backpack for college. It has worked out great so far. Lots of space, durable, and fits my 16 inch laptop.

This is the best backpack ever! Super durable. My daughter uses for high school. They don't use lockers so everything for the day stays in the backpack. She is on her junior year and it is still going strong!! Just bought for my son who is a freshman. Love this backpack

The placement of the pockets are intuitive. It is almost as if someone read my mind when they designed this pack! There is a location to store everything that I need to have when I travel. My sunglasses have never been treated as well as they are kept in the ultra-soft compartment. It is as if a family of chinchillas made a cradle to nurture my Oakleys. I use the large outside pouch for my phone, which frees up pocket space and adds comfort in my shorts and pants. The last pack I had was a Patagonia which neglected my bottles as they kept sliding out without the North Face strap system. All in all, it is the more intelligently organized pack that have had in half a century.

I've ordered both the Recon backpack and the Borealis for my sons at college. They prefer the Recon as they are not a fan of the bungee to hold jackets etc. on the Borealis. On the Recon my boys like the laptop compartment, the water bottle side holder and the front zipper compartment to hold earbuds, and other important small items.

I got this to use for work due to carting a laptop. Had bag & hands not free. This backpack is awesome! Light weight & fits everything! No more carrying multiple bags!

Pockets galore, many containing that felt sort of feel for storing electronics. A lot of straps, good for any sort of trip. Zippers are smooth, overall feel of the backpack is solid.

This book bag is totally waterproof! It is comforting to know that I don't have to carry an umbrella to keep my books dry!

I use this everyday. I'm able to fit my bouldering gym gear, laptop and other school stuff, and my bike helmet secures to the loops. The stretchy stuff sack on the front is my favorite part. I keep my chalk bag, tape, and hat in there.
