I've been looking for a backpack like this for years! It has just the right amount of pockets and is the perfect size. The only thing is that the water bottle holder on the side is too small.

Perfect day trip/ field trip purse. I used it when taking my kids to the zoo, museums, hiking, biking, and to amusement parks. Lightweight so it doesn't get heavy or hot, but big enough to fit all the essentials. I love it so much, I got it in a few colors.

Great for everyday use. Fits all purse items well as well has room for a book. Goes well with all outfits be it casual or professional. Love the color ! Understated yet classy.

Perfect size for a day hike. You can fit a large water bottle, snacks and a packable, lightweight jacket. It's so cute and just the right size for my 5' tiny self.

I wanted a backpack that was not going to be too big to hike with in hot weather and this was perfect. I was able to fit my 36 ounce water bottle, few snacks, wallet, and still had some additional space left. Side pocket is too small for a water bottle; it only fits miscellaneous stuff like my chapstick and mini hand sanitizer.

This is my go to backpack for all day hikes. That car carries my Hydro flask, perfect and the padding on the back is nice.

The backpack overall is absolutely perfect for being on the go. Has great pocket options and is lightweight.

It's the perfect size for an afternoon adventure, be it hiking or going to the fair. It holds all of the necessities, but has spare rooms for some additional items.

I use this as my purse! As my shoulders were hurting from my purse strap bc I carry a lot of things. This fit everything I keep in my bag. The "water bottle" pockets don't fit water bottles, however I stash electrolyte packets on one side and phone on the other. The main compartment does fit both 32oz and 40oz owala water bottles. I use a carabiner to carry my water bottle on the daisy chain. I grabbed this one and bunch of similar bags/slinga at Scheels dumped out my purse and chose the bag that fit everything.

I bought this specifically for Disneyland visits as I recently started my first annual pass so know I'll be going often. It's roomy enough and easy to organize in the pockets all the essentials to take plus more. And is small and light for my small older frame.

I like my Borealis Mini Backpack very much. It does almost everything I was looking for to be able to take what I need on my daily walks. The side pockets are pretty much useless, because they do not give you enough room to put anything in them but a piece a paper, Kleenex & a pen. Water bottles will need to be carried inside the bag, but I am able to take my wallet, my plus size iPhone, a snack and my keys. The cords on the outside can be used to stuff your mittens, hats and the like. But nothing heavy like a water bottle because it would probably just slip out. It comes in some nice colors as well. I think if the side pockets could be improved I would buy another in another color.

I returned this because it was MINI. It's tiny. It looks a little odd on an adult because it is so small. With that said, the construction is great. Materials are good. If you want a really small bag, this is it.

It has well organized compartments, fits more then you think. I do wish the water bottle pocket was bigger (it holds only a slim water bottle) and I wish it was just a little bit bigger.

While this Borealis Mini is well made, it was too small for me (being a 5'8" man at 190#). It has a a tablet sleeve for an iPad mini (not sure it would fit a full size iPad.) The side pockets might hold a mini umbrella or 12/16-oz throwaway bottle, but certainly not an insulated water bottle.
